Located in the historic district, Lewes Oyster House honors the rich heritage of ubiquitous and democratic oyster consumption in 18th and 19th century Middle Atlantic taverns and oyster houses. We serve inspired tavern fare, expertly prepared with fresh, regionally-sourced ingredients along with crisp lagers, interesting wines, and artisanal cocktails. All that, and a whole lot of love.

Please join us for lunch Tuesdays through Saturdays in the Tap Room, Oyster Bar or Main Bar. We do not accept reservations for lunch.

Walk-ins for dinner are always welcome first-come first-served at the Oyster and Main bar areas, all evening long beginning at 5 p.m.

Online reservations for dinner are VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for the Walsh Room and Tap Room.

We went to Lewes Oyster House for our Anniversary. Everything was outstanding. The staff were so great and friendly. The food was fabulous. We will be back

My friend and I had the most amazing experience with culinary and wine coming together in a sacred place. We did the wine dinner Eastern European spice trade, beautiful gorgeous flavors between the wines the food, the spices, the nuances with the Eric conditions of the wines and where they come from and they pair so well is explained explicitly well by Diego as well as Shawn, the foods that involve the spaces in a very mellow way to taste everything all at once it was fireworks

Food was fantastic. Service for the 2nd time in a row was sub par. Server didnt seem to care, walked up said there is no specials (odd for a sat night) and asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers. We hadnt been seated long enough to look at the menu then she didnt return for 15 mins. Short, unattentive, didnt ask if we wanted dessert just put the tab on the table. Food is great but the service has twice now fallen short.

Excellent service as always! We ate at the bar and had a blast. Mussels were fantastic as were the seasoned fries.

The menu was varied, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and very efficient. We will return to the Lewes Oyster House for our next special occasion.
