We are Level8ight Sky Bar, and we are situated on the 8th floor of the Hilton Bournemouth Hotel, overlooking Bournemouth town and the English Channel, as the go-to social and definitive drinking bar on the South Coast.

We decided to meet friends here for a cocktail before going elsewhere for dinner. The venue was lively, but 2 hen parties and 20 noisy women on a birthday party made it difficult to hold a conversation. That became impossible when the live band started. Rock music is not the right genre for this venue. The band played 1 song and then closed down, to be replaced by a lone acoustic guitarist, which was more suitable.The management obviously realised the dilemma. Would go again to meet friends and enjoy the views over Bournemouth town centre, but not a priority.

A lot of changes for the worst since my last visit 3 years ago: food, ambience, service, dress code. Shame, as this was a special occasion for us and we were prepared to pay a lot for the quality... I would consider the management of this place of a need of training, and some serious investment into keeping up with certain standards.

Blown away by how kind the staff were. We booked for my daughter’s 9th birthday and she said she left feeling like a VIP. They gave her enough attention with a mocktail of her own, and allowing her behind the bar to make her next mocktail. They were attentive and just so lovely. Thank you so much!

Staff were great as was our afternoon tea, but bar was deathly quiet so little atmosphere. Views also not as spectacular as I’d been led to believe from website but I couldn’t fault food, value or service. I will definitely return

This was a birthday present, my friend and I had a lovely afternoon, the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing, will definitely be back and can highly recommend.

A very enjoyable Mothers Day Afternoon Tea, which kicked off with a flying start with a complimentary glass of bubbles, and the staff kept on giving superb service during our time there. Nothing was too much trouble, and food and drink was plentiful. I have to mention the scones were the best any of us have actually had, beautifully cooked, light and fluffy, and still warm on the plate, yummy. Just wish a little background music was playing, as it would have added to the ambience of the lovely Sky Bar.
