I recently dined at Levant on Smith, and it truly impressed me as one of Brooklyn’s best. Every dish was beautifully prepared—the French onion soup was rich and comforting, the Wagyu steak tartare was incredibly fresh, and the black garlic gnocchi was a unique and delightful surprise. The beef bourguignon was perfectly tender, and the homemade crème brûlée was the ideal finish to a fantastic meal. Their wine and cocktail selection added just the right touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic French flavors in a cozy Brooklyn setting!

Omg I loved this place!!!! My girls and I celebrated my birthday on 10/27 and we had an amazing time. The food was cooked to perfection and the drinks were to die for. The ambiance of the restaurant was everything. Very sexy and chic. Our waiter Tuna answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed. Definitely will visit again.

Food was spectacular. I ordered their octopus entree and almond cake. Was able to treat a party of 3 with a good for $100. Me and my friend spoke about it the whole day. Will be back for their gnocchi and ratatouille

We highly recommend Levant Restaurant in Cobble Hill Brooklyn. The Tuna Tartar and Gazpacho were what we ate in the beginning of meal and thy were wonderful. This was followed by the Chicken Coq Au Vin and Duck Confit elegantly prepared. For desert we had the Almond Cake, a freshly baked almond flour cake with vanilla ice cream. This was light and screamed home made. Everything was enjoyable and served by Levant ‘s dedicated staff. The owner knows who his customers are and greeted us at our table.

The food was really outstanding! Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked perfection. Staff and service was excellent. Well balanced menu and reasonable priced. Coctails were great. Yes, I will definitely come again.

Levant on Smith is a gem for French cuisine in Brooklyn. The food was delicious, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. We celebrated both a birthday and an anniversary here, and the staff made us feel special the entire evening. The cozy, intimate vibe added to the experience, making it the perfect spot for a memorable night out. Highly recommend!

Came here for the first time after looking this place up and can't say that I would recommend it nor would ever return. The ambiance of the place itself is nice, very low key and cute which was unfortunately where the positives ended. The drink I got (an old fashioned) was extremely sweet and felt like there was barely any alcohol in it. The food left something to be desired as well as the the cauliflower au gratin was passage but the cheese feel pretty watery. My date ordered the seabass which was decent (though maybe a tiny bit over salted) but my steak frites frankly just felt like old meat. It was EXTREMELY tough and chewy and lacked any kind of flavor. I didn't really want to send it back as the staff was attentive but the kitchen, well who knows what is going on there. I'd give it a 2/5, mostly for the ambiance and décor.
