First time here and will be back. Food was great and I think reasonably priced. Service was good.

The restaurant is on a corner and has a few tables outside on the street. We had our meal in the dining room inside. It is smallish, but not overcrowded with tables. The service was very attentive, yet not intrusive. Dishes came out quickly, and were delectable. We stated with soups: gazpacho was wonderfully refreshing drizzled with fresh and high quality olive oil. French onion soup was appropriately hot and cheesy and onions cooked to perfection. The fresh Levant house salad was truly fresh and nicely dressed with yummy balsamic dressing. For main course I had a wonderful version of Niçoise salad with seared fresh tuna pieces that I enjoyed a lot, and my partner had grilled Portuguese octopus. The octopus was really nicely prepared: tender and well seasoned. We finished with chocolate soufflée which was tasty and the best surprise of chestnut fig “mousse” with vanilla ice cream. I wouldn’t call it a mousse, it had more of a paste texture, but it was a wonderful combination with ice cream and was very, very tasty. My partner asked for a glass of rosé, and we were both impressed with the choice. Overall a wonderful experience, highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem for French food in Carroll Gardens / Cobble Hill in Brooklyn area. The atmosphere is lively, with great service. The food is amazing, with perfectly cooked meats and vegetables, and a tasty red wine sauce. The chef clearly knows French cooking techniques. We enjoyed steak tartare, tuna tartare, gnocchi , and beef bourguignon, all large and delicious. The crème brûlée for dessert was also very good. tasty French meal. Highly recommend!

We went for Father’s Day Brunch and had a lovely time! Excellent food choices, friendly service, and I appreciated the tables had ample space between each other (it’s a pet peeve when restaurants smash as many tables as possible and your group lacks privacy). Great option to have in the neighborhood and to bring friends / family.

Chose the restaurant because they offered duck. An item not seen on too many menus in the area. Did not disappoint. We opted for an early dinner, 5:15. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Started off with 2 drinks(happy hour priced). The Illusionist Paloma and the Passioned Stilt Walker. They tasted as good as they looked. We ordered crispy goat cheese appetizer. The only disappointment. Service was with a smile and the drinks were at the recommendation of the waitstaff. Yes, I will return.
