Levan is a restaurant in the heart of Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin, with a focus on low intervention wines. Join us for dinner and lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We offer an a la carte menu and a £59pp chefs tasting menu. Groups over 5 will be asked to dine from the chefs menu.

Seatings are for 2 hours, after which we may require the table back.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance. We may not be able to cater to them without advanced notice.

If you arrive late for your booking we may ask you to choose from a reduced menu.

Cancellations - we are a small, independent restaurant, so please let us know if you cannot make your reservation.

    We have had a good time at levan previously however sadly this evening wasn’t so great. It was an anniversary treat, so we chose the tasting menu but asked for amendments as I am vegetarian and my husband had an allergy to an aspect of the main course. These amendments were forgotten about and our main courses got to us 2 hours after we sat down, and that was only because we pointed this out. We were comped half of the meal which we were grateful for but also that was the right call as we also felt like the staff were having a bad day. Hopefully a one off!

    Another outstanding meal at our favourite local restaurant. Friendly staff managed an unsurprisingly full restaurant with ease and charm. Great wine list. And the food..! A superb chef’s menu with the amuse bouche and the short rib highlights among excellent course after excellent course. An absolute treat to eat here.

    Levan has always been a favourite of mine, like Salon was (and Holmes too, although a bit far for regular visits) - but that time it really felt overpriced. Over £22 for a 5 gnocchis plate? £12 for a quarter of fennel? The same price for 5 green beans and 2 slices of peaches? Even the wine list is out of control. Was still good food, but there’s a value/quantity gap to address.

    Anniversary dinner - we had such a long, relaxed and delicious meal with drinks outside to start and then dinner at the bar. The food was amazing, I loved watching the chefs work. Delicious drinks. Just what I wanted.

    Had a really lovely meal at Levan, food was delicious and unique and the staff were lovely. It's a super nice ambience in there, perfect for a date or catching up with friends.
