Levan is a restaurant in the heart of Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin, with a focus on low intervention wines. Join us for dinner and lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We offer an a la carte menu and a £59pp chefs tasting menu. Groups over 5 will be asked to dine from the chefs menu.

Please check our website for our most up to date offering.

Seatings are for 2 hours, after which we may require the table back.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance. We may not be able to cater to them without advanced notice.

If you arrive late for your booking we may ask you to choose from a reduced menu.

Cancellations - we are a small, independent restaurant, so please let us know if you cannot make your reservation.

On the 5th & 6th November, Philip our head chef and bonifide in-house Austrian, has created an authentic and delicious 5 & 7 course menu inspired by a porcine-centric festival from his home country of Austria. The Pig Dance is an annual autumnal tradition based around a nose to tail celebration of the humble pig. Philip’s menu will reimagine old school classic dishes, utilising everything the animal has to offer. He’ll be making blood pudding, hot smoked speck, sausages, offal ragout, crackling, along with pork chops, belly, loin etc, spread over 5 to 7 courses. 5 Course Pig Dance menu is £55 7 Course Pig Dance Extended Menu is £75 Due to the nature of the menu, we will not be able to cater for vegetarians, vegans, dairy allergies.

Sunday special as advertised, beautiful fillet of steak cooked perfectly and served with generous bowl of crisp fries (frites). If you like a salad or veg you need to order side dishes, but the dressing on the steak was delicious and enjoyed with a glass of beer. We had our border terrier with us, who had her picture taken by the owner for socials. We ate at 12.30pm, so fairly quiet restaurant, but very attentive staff and calm Sunday vibes. Without us mentioning they noticed it was my daughters birthday and gave her a handmade chocolate with a candle. Very much appreciated, thank you.

After a somewhat disappointing dinner back in May we returned with a meal 'voucher' kindly supplied by Levan. I am very pleased to say every we ate was faultless and delicious and presented beautifully. As always the staff were friendly and attentive. Certainly not a budget option but they deliver outstanding food with flair. Highly recommend them!

Another fantastic meal - they very kindly organised a vegetarian version of the chef's menu which was delicious. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary,

We have had a good time at levan previously however sadly this evening wasn’t so great. It was an anniversary treat, so we chose the tasting menu but asked for amendments as I am vegetarian and my husband had an allergy to an aspect of the main course. These amendments were forgotten about and our main courses got to us 2 hours after we sat down, and that was only because we pointed this out. We were comped half of the meal which we were grateful for but also that was the right call as we also felt like the staff were having a bad day. Hopefully a one off!
