Great concept and environment by the owners of Miro, Senia, etc.
The service was on point and our server was incredibly knowledgeable in food and wine pairings and we enjoyed interacting with him. The food courses were made up of several small Moroccan dips and made to order flat spread which was tasty and well executed but there was a VERY long wait and transition to the main course of a shared platter of Wagu steak which was also good with couscous and farro sides. Enjoyed the elevated food experience, but…the overall dining experience feels overdone and pretentious. 2.5 hrs to eat bread, dip, and shared platter of steak was a bit much. Combined with a bill of $400 for two people inclusive of $36 for two glasses of vermentino and two mock tales left us feeling a bit unsatisfied. If service can be a bit more efficient amongst the servers, food runners, and kitchen team; I’d appreciate it more. Currently the fine dining niche attempted here feels clunky and overpriced. I’d rather just keep going back to Miro for a more authentic fine dining experience.

The 7 salads are excellent and very satisfying with the fresh endives and bread. We ordered the lamb, brazino and wagu beef, and the six of us voted for our favorite dish in the above order. Our overall experience was great with the exception of the wagu beef which was too lean to be considered marbled wagu. We do not think it is worth the $50 upcharge! The date cake with buffalo ice-cream was soooo delicious! My second time visiting the restaurant in 2 weeks!

The 3 set courses at $85 per person is fine — but they charge extra per piece of bread which is ridiculous, and the lemon cocktail I had tasted like lemon water.
That said, the “seven salads” had tasty flavors, the fish was cooked perfectly and the desert was spot on! Pair the desert with the Malmsey (Madeira, Portugal) and mwah!
The atmosphere was okay, but the music was tacky 70s music in a Moroccan restaurant, which really blew the vibe. Luckily the waitress was stellar and really pulled together the experience!

First visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! The food was absolutely delicious! Add on the bastiya!!! Our lovely server, Mona, was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable, articulate and fun! Cocktails were creative and tasty. Just a heads up, entree portions are for 2. I was a tad disappointed that my Eating Buddy and I couldn't try the lamb and the branzino but that just means we need to return with more friends! 😊

A delicious and luxurious meal. The intention behind each dish (like the hand rolled couscous) was clear and made for a fabulous experience.

Great experience. The 7 salads were amazing. We particularly loved the roasted pepper hummus and the eggplant dish. My wife is plant-based and she flipped out on the roasted cauliflower entree. The date cake dessert was beyond all expectations. It's now her favorite restaurant.

We love MidEast cuisine and were hoping to love this place. There's a fixed first course of "7 Salads", and a choice of about 5 mains for the second course, followed by a date cake with a salted ice cream as the 3rd course. We chose the Lamb Neck for the entree and included the wine pairing. The first wine was a 3 oz pour of a Bandol Rose with the salads, then a 3oz pour of a Moroccan Syrah with the lamb and a dessert wine with the date cake. The Rose and the Syrah were fine. For our taste, a dessert wine, no matter how good, is too much sweet on sweet to go with a sweet dessert. Also, a 3 oz pour of wine is fine if there are several courses. However, with just 2 savory courses, I found myself running out of the Rose during the first course and with a delay before receiving the lamb, I was already nursing the last drops of Syrah by the time we received it. I could have made more effort to order another pour of Syrah, but it would have been nice if they had noticed I was low and inquire (before we were finished with the lamb). My recommendation would be to skip the wine pairing and just order a full pour of your preferred wines. It would have been a better value and more enjoyable to get a full 5 oz Rose with the Salads and use a full pour of the Syrah for both the Lamb and as a contrast with the date cake. Or, replace the dessert wine with another pour of the Syrah. The Lamb was excellent and enough for us, though the serving may be a little light for big eaters. It comes with a token amount of deep fried veg which for us was too heavy and insufficient. We'd have preferred some lightly cooked vegetable and the inclusion of some Farro or Couscous. It would have been a fairer value, rather offering them at extra charge. For the "7 Salads" we liked the yogurt with trout eggs and the small serving of fresh vegetable but would have preferred a fresher take overall. Along with 2 "Miro" oysters and tip, our meal for 2 came to $350.
