Set on London’s most vibrant square, Leicester Square Kitchen introduces a Mexican and Peruvian dining experience serving small plates and innovative cocktails. From exquisite tacos to fine skewered meats from the Peruvian barbecue, the menu takes diners on a journey through the unique flavours of South America.

With Soho and Covent Garden on the doorstep, Leicester Square Kitchen is the perfect place to enjoy a pre-theatre dinner. The restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from iconic West End theatres such as Harold Pinter Theatre, Garrick Theatre, Her Majesty's Theatre and many more.

We invite you to join us for a pre-dinner drink on our terrace or in the neighbouring At The Hampshire Lounge Bar prior to your dining experience. At weekends, resident DJs provide a backing track to a fun and memorable night in town.

Please note that from Sunday to Tuesday the menu will be limited to the lounge bar menu.

Our second visit here and wow. Honestly the best food we have eaten!!! Highly recommend the duck and street corn. Calamari is also delicious. The venue is clean, bright and buzzing...great vibe. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. I love it here and cant wait to return!

If you don’t like spicy food I would not recommend otherwise you will be battling your inner demons for the entirety of the meal. Drinks were great however so maybe just for a happy hour next time.

We ate at Leicester Square Kitchen on a Sunday evening during a weekend break in London. We were a party of four and we shared a selection of dishes from both the Mexican and Peruvian menus. We enjoyed all of the dishes and would happily return the next time we’re in town. Service was great too. We’d walked by the restaurant on the Saturday evening and noticed it was very busy, and by contrast it was a lot quieter on the Sunday, which is only to be expected. Booking in advance would presumably be advisable on Fridays or Saturdays.

Waiter was helpful with recommendations and portions and everything was delicious. Lovely location sitting outside listening to the local artists playing.

I visited for the first time for an after work dinner midweek with a client. The food tasted lovely but we were given no direction with the menu and inadvertently ordered a breaded chicken breast with half a lemon to squeeze over it for our mains with no sides / additional sharing plates. I spilled a drink down my front and having asked for napkins to wipe down my dress and the table was told to walk the bathroom instead. I even had to ask for directions and when I returned no attempt had been made to clean the table so we were left with drink all over the table and floor for the duration of our meal. We also had to ask for a dessert menu and for the bill having tried to make eye contact and get the waiters attention on numerous occasions. Having previous waitressing experience, this fell far below the level of service I would expect to receive in any restaurant. The restaurant has much promise and is in a great location but I am unlikely to book again.

Booked a lovely table outside at The Leicester Square Kitchen to celebrate a birthday and had fantastic service, lots of yummy food with decent sized portions and the surprise birthday macaroon at the end was a lovely touch! Thank you
