Le plat signature du Legal Sea Foods est composé de poisson très frais. Seafood Nation apprécie cet avant-poste à Peabody, à la jonction entre les Routes 128 et 114. Si vous voyagez depuis ou à destination des plages de Cape Ann, il est fort probable que vous renonciez à votre sortie pour déguster du poisson frais. Ceux et celles qui envisageraient au contraire de partir à la pêche, pourraient aussi revoir leurs plans et s'arrêter au restaurant à la place. Le Legal Sea Foods a depuis longtemps prouvé qu'une expérience culinaire cohérente et de haute qualité ne passe jamais de mode. Avec plus de 40 sortes de poissons et fruits de mer frais, servis tout au long de l'année, ainsi qu'une carte des vins médaillés, il n'est pas étonnant que tant de fidèles aient mordu à l'hameçon ! L'établissement a été maintes fois reconnu, notamment comme le « Meilleur Restaurant de Fruits de Mer » (USA Today, 2013), le « Restaurant le Plus Populaire de Boston » (Zagat, 2012/2013), le « Meilleur Restaurant de Fruits de Mer » (Improper Bostonian, 2010) et la « Meilleure Chaudrée » (Boston Magazine, 2010). Le restaurant a aussi l'honneur de présenter sa légendaire chaudrée de palourdes de Nouvelle-Angleterre à chaque inauguration présidentielle depuis 1981.

Katie was our server- best dinner out in a long time! Food was amazing and Katie couldn’t have been more attentive and perfect!! Chowder was better than usual and the sea bass melted in my mouth. We also splurged on the seafood tower and that was amazing as well! This Peabody location was, by far, better than Burlington!! Food and service!

Food was excellent as usual. Service was okay - they didn’t bring out kids appetizers first and gave me the wrong bill at check out. But they were very apologetic and the restaurant was slammed.

Mussels were good, but had to request the (traditional) bowl for shells. Disappointing lobster lobster bisque (served in a flattened bowl which let it cool before it reached our table) and lobster mac and cheese. Second time here. We used to enjoy a meal at another LS location before we moved, so we were disappointed.
