Since 1980, we've been a staple in Boston's Park Square. Now relocated and renovated, our new spot at the corner of Arlington Street offers a wrap-around bar, open raw bar, and expansive lounge and dining areas. In warmer months, our patio provides a charming outdoor dining option right across from the Park Plaza Hotel.

On a tuesday evening, my grown children and I went to the Legal Sea Foods Park Square while visiting Boston. The restaurant was very quiet - not many customers at all. Once we were greeted by our server, who seemed preoccupied with something else happening in the restaurant, we ordered appetizers and drinks right away. The food and drinks came early enough - but once we ordered entrees, we never saw our server until we had to ask the bar tender to find him. Someone else brought out the food - and I ordered the crabcake combo based on the waiter's suggestion - the entire meal was cold like it had been sitting for a while. The kids split a sushi roll and lobster roll which were fine. Because the waiter never returned to check on us, I asked the bartender to find him and fortunately the bartender offered to take my cold, bad food back to the kitchen and bring out a cup of soup. When the waiter dropped the check he let us know he was able to take the crab combo off the ticket - which shouldn't be a big deal since I didn't eat any of it! As frequent diners previously living in Boston, knowing the usual quality of the Legal Sea Foods restaurants, we should have known that the lackof customers and slow service, was an indication that this restaurant was not up to its normal quality and service. I would definitely avoid this particular location.

We were seated in a comfortable booth. Food and wine were excellent. Server got busy at times when we were looking for him but not too bad. Price seemed about right for this quality of restaurant. Very convenient to our hotel too!

Food was not what I expected and was used from Legal. Soups were cold, food was mediocre at best. Lobster was good. Waitress was super nice. Olother than that was a disappointment

The restaurant was noisy. The way it’s designed makes it even noisier. There’s no corners or quiet booths. We could not hear the waiter. The waiter was also very busy having to solve some other kind of translation issue with staff members so he was not attentive, but understandably so. The food was, average to poor. My mother barely touched her scallops and side dishes that were relatively expensive. My father fared better with his fish and chips. I picked a cod entrée off the list that was OK but could’ve been better. Legal seems to have gone downhill in the last few years and this meal was a testament to both the organization and the kitchen sadly.

We split a buttery, gluten free lobster roll, with cole slaw, which was delicious. Service, as always, was excellent.

Group from around the country. Many never had experienced NE cuisine. Great night, solid service and terrific food.

what a great experience. food was so delicious, music was perfect, but that can’t even compare to the service. Starting with the very warm and hospitable hosts, it just kept getting better. sour server was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The manager came to check in and had a friendly chat. The best part was CHEF BRANDON. He and his team not only made the absolute yummiest food , for each and everyone in our party, but he came to make sure we enjoyed it. it was an absolute 5 star experience. It was my sister’s birthday and wow did we get the royal treatment. We felt so catered to. Best Legals experience (and this is coming from a family that goes to Legal Seafoods for most of our family events). It couldn’t have been better ❤️ Thank you

For a restaurant that specializes in seafood. The food was horrible. The clam strips were rubbery and the haddock was uncooked. The corn was spiced up with ingredients not specified on menu. Service was slow. Had to ask for server.
