We split a buttery, gluten free lobster roll, with cole slaw, which was delicious. Service, as always, was excellent.

what a great experience. food was so delicious, music was perfect, but that can’t even compare to the service. Starting with the very warm and hospitable hosts, it just kept getting better. sour server was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The manager came to check in and had a friendly chat. The best part was CHEF BRANDON. He and his team not only made the absolute yummiest food , for each and everyone in our party, but he came to make sure we enjoyed it. it was an absolute 5 star experience. It was my sister’s birthday and wow did we get the royal treatment. We felt so catered to. Best Legals experience (and this is coming from a family that goes to Legal Seafoods for most of our family events). It couldn’t have been better ❤️ Thank you

For a restaurant that specializes in seafood. The food was horrible. The clam strips were rubbery and the haddock was uncooked. The corn was spiced up with ingredients not specified on menu. Service was slow. Had to ask for server.

Our service was impeccable! Quick,efficient and went above and beyond. Door overall was pretty good. Scallops were a bit small but everything else as yummy. One small thing is we had a hard time seeing the sign. Most of us walked right past it a few time. In the dark. Haha!

Nia, our server, was great; attentive with a big smile. Food was delicious: steamers, bay scallops, sushi bowl, fish and chips, bonbons, and rice pudding. Comfortable seating in a high top booth.

Our server was outstanding. The manager provided oversight for food prepared for the person with dietary restrictions. I had lobster tails which were delicious and well prepared. My friend had the tofu and vegetable rice bowl and really enjoyed it. It took a minute, when we arrived, to get seated at the table we preferred and we were pleased the manager jumped in to help with that.

We were happy with our food overall but it wasn't anything special and the prices were probably 30% higher than they should have been for basic orders...$28 for six shrimp, too many fries, and a tiny serving of slaw; $36ish for belly clams, same on fries and slaw. There must be better options, but we're on foot so limited in distance.

Years ago, Legal used to be a restaurant to visit on special occasions. Service, food, and atmosphere were all top notch. We were disappointed to find out that’s no longer the case. My wife and I took a rare weekday for dinner out, mostly because we knew Legal was good, particularly because of the awesome $1 oyster deal on Tuesdays in October, and also to visit (what we thought was) our favorite Park Plaza location. We arrived to find out that the beautiful two story location had been moved a couple blocks and the whole thing was changed. The cool atmosphere, huge fish tank and elegant decor were replaced by a single story highly lit restaurant that felt more like a Friendly’s with fish. The service, while friendly, was slow and inattentive, partially due to the fact that the poor solo bartender was training a new employee while simultaneously serving half of the restaurant. Nobody helped her and although she was super nice, everything took twice as long as it should. Sure, the food was good and the oysters were $1 as advertised but sadly, Legal has gone from a destination where we would take guests to a dull, casual family restaurant with decent food. We have had the same experience at the Harborside location. So sorry the Berkowitz family sold the chain…
