   Didn’t start great as the host tried to seat us at a high top cocktail table next to the noisy bar despite the fact we had a reservation and the dining room was barely one third full. However, it went downhill from there as the food was just horrible. We both ordered the haddock with jasmine rice and broccoli and it was overcooked so much it was barely eatable. We also felt like it was a fast food experience. We sat down at 6:10, ordered a glass of wine, 2 appetizers and our entrees and in less than 30 minutes had our entrees. This is not the Legal of old. Save your money.

   Legal’s used to be the quintessential in Boston. This was airport food quality, just terrible. The chowder was excellent. The crab roll and salad with shrimp was inedible

   Food is amazing. Service on a Monday night was a little slow. Fried seafood platter with only one small cup of tartar sauce. Maybe new server? At this price point, needs to be spot on. When I asked for a second and malt vinegar, it never came. Nor did the server by the time my family and I finished our meals. Server was nice, food was great regardless. Will definitely be back again. I chalk it up to a Monday.

   We had great service from the time we walked in the door. The clam chowder is some of the best we have ever had. The wife had the swordfish and I had the lobster roll. Both were excellent. The bloodmary was nothing short of what I expected from a seafood house. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. Had an excellent experience.

   Also this experience in Boston was incredible. Amazing seafood of outstanding quality and quite affordable, to boot! I appreciated the service as well - definitely a place I would recommend to all seafood lovers.

   This is a restaurant I visit every time when I visit Boston, lobster, oyster, clams are fresh and good. Waiter is knowledgeable and good service.

   Excellent service. Grilled cod and grilled char were delicious. Love the protein plus 2 sides ! So many choice- roasted mushrooms and Brussels sprouts were awesome.

   Great clam chowder. My wife and daughter also enjoyed the fish and chips. Get there early or have a reservation as the restaurant fills up quickly.
