Profitez au maximum de leur superbe emplacement; allez-y pour les fruits de mer et faites les magasins par la même occasion ! Leur hall d'entrée est d'ailleurs marqué par un magnifique mur d'eau. Avec plus de 40 variétés de poissons frais et de crustacés disponibles toute l'année, ainsi qu'une liste de vins reconnus, plus besoin de se demander pourquoi des tonnes de fans sont tombés amoureux de l'endroit ! Ils ont reçu de nombreuses récompenses, notamment : "n°1 Best Seafood Restaurant" (USA Today, 2013), "Most Popular Boston Restaurant" (Zagat, 2012/2013), "Best Seafood Restaurant" (Bostonian incorrect, 2010), "Best Chowder"(Boston Magazine, 2010) et l'honneur de servir leur légendaire New England Clam Chowder à chaque inauguration présidentielle depuis 1981.

Need to improve the service. We felt that we should rush to leave. A lot of pressure to finish the food and leave even the restaurant was not full so they did not really need the table!

We started with fried clams with bellies, they were light and delicious. Them a sushi roll outstanding! We shared the crab cake plate, scallops were a bit overcooked and chewy. But the crab cake and shrimp were good.

Haven't been back to Legal in quite some time do to last visit and unfortunately nothings changed. I had the scallops, there were a total of 5 small total on the plate, they were tasteless, over cooked and dried out. My wife had the steamed lobster, this too was way over done, tasteless and dried out! The sides looked and tasted like they had been sitting around for a while and were cold. No sure what happened to Legal but last two visits were not worth the cost.

Another great meal at Legal. Service and food were delightful - the new lunch combo was a hit with my wife (bisque, petite lobster roll, fries) and the calamari hit the spot for me. Topped it off with an ice cream sundae. Looking forward to our next visit!

We have been going to Legal restaurants for decades and have always counted on the quality of food and service. However, all good things must come to an end. The drinks were average; my martini was 3/4 full and sported one, sad little olive. We all ordered fish and chips with haddock instead of pollack which the server helpfully noted was an option when asked. It had lots of batter but little fish; it was dry and underseasoned. Although nothing was 'bad' per se, our experience didn't qualify as good either.

WE were dining to comfort a friend in a time of loss and the server let us linger so that we could finish our comforting conversation. She we was prompt in responding to any requests and checked on us often. The food was absolutely delicious (we has the cod, clam roll, clam chowder, ice cream sundaes, and coffee). All were fabulous!
