In the "Ocean State", Legal Sea Foods makes waves serving over 40 varieties of fish and shellfish throughout the year. Our central bar and contemporary nautically-themed design provide a fresh experience for seafood lovers in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. In warmer months, we retract the glass walls of our dining room to convert the space into a large covered patio. We are conveniently located at Garden City Center for those who want to shop and then drop in for a bite.

We hadn't been to a Legal Seafoods in a while. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the menu choices. Also parking nearby at the Garden City location was great. We will definitely be going back!

Caesar salad was excellent with added grilled scallops. Spicy salmon maki was okay if bland. Cod loin was excellent but sides of rice pilaf and roasted broccoli were poor, seemingly left overs and reheated. Dessert of chocolate pudding cake was mediocre served lukewarm with a set rather than pudding center. Vanilla bean ice cream was tasteless with a slight lemon taste. Staff were personable and service was attentive. Legal never disappoints with its fish, but the sides and dessert could use some attention to equal the main entrees.
