Legal Sea Foods donne naissance au Legal C Bar, un lieu social urbain plein de saveurs, au style décontracté. The location and the waitstaff are lovely. My Greek salad with lobster was about half the size it used to be, drenched with dressing, and a ridiculous almost $50.

We were there 5PM on a Sunday. It was not busy and pleasantly quiet. The fried clams were done a bit more than I am used to and they were awesone. Sweet. Crunchy. Fantastic. We had entrees weve had before. Fried shrimp for me, Salmon for my wife. Both were delicious as usual. All in all a very good experience made even better by our terrific and attentive waitress, Britney. Not sure I spelled that correctly.

We made the reservation as a business meal and we were seated in a very very loud section of the restaurant which was fairly full and where the noise bounced off the walls (much of the restaurant was not full other than our section). Service was very slow.

We’ve always enjoyed our visits to any of the Legals’ visited. Food is generally good. The wine lists have continually shrunk, which is unfortunate, as they used to be more extensive and appealing. While theres usually something to find, I do miss the larger list. I’m sure business wise, they needed to change it, but not for the better. That said, our waiter, Giovanni, really made the evening enjoyable. We really appreciated his hospitality and generous spirit.

The hostess with the extended eye lashes ignored us while we waited at the front desk. We had reservations. After she finished moving a few takeout orders she then acknowledged our existence. Everyone else was outstanding.

Scallops were cold and they messed up my daughter’s order. That said, they did comp us her meal.
