We were seated promptly when we arrived for our reservation. The waitress came and took our drink orders and our meal orders soon after we were seated and brought the drinks and bread soon after. We had ordered chowder and it did not arrive and did not arrive and finally I had to go to the hostess stand and ask for the chowder to be delivered. It arrived within a minute and the waitress apologized for the delay. She stated that she thought someone else was to deliver the chowder but that person never did as he was new and was in training I understand what happened and the rest of our meal went fine. I had the Cod loin and my wife had the swordfish and both meals were up to the Legal very high standard and were most delicious. We will return and not let the slip up deter us from having another great meal. Jack O’Toole

Scallops were hard with no flavor.Served with corn and crunched up taco chips?Drinks were good.Service was good.Food was horrible.Will never go back.

We had a reservation which was confirmed twice. When we arrived, a few minutes early, we were told they were too busy and did not have enough staff to seat us even though we had a reservation. I have sent a detailed message to Legal directly. This was so upsetting.

I arrived for my 6:30 reservation and was told it would be another 40 minute wait. the table was ready but the waitress was too busy to take us. I asked if we could sit with drinks at the table and were told no. We went to bar and found seats- were ignored for 15 minutes by the bartender - so we got up and left and went to Burtons where we received excellent service and food!

The Express Lunch Petit Lobster Roll is ourstanding, perfect for lunch and a good value at $25.00. I had the hot buttered roll on grilled roll. The French fries were crispy and piping hot from the fryer. It comes with a cup of clam chowder or lobster bisque. The chowder was creamy, not too thick and loaded with clams and potatoes. Can't wait to go back.
