This historically unique location houses the new restaurant from Matt O'Neil chef/owner of The Blue Ox in Lynn. O'Neil collaborates with Executive Chef, Daniel Gursha, formerly of Bambara, Cambridge and A Voce and Bouley in New York City, offering a progressive New England concept, where traditional 19th-century dishes, cocktails, and techniques will be elevated with 21st-century resources.

    Came here for my birthday and it was a very cute restaurant. The good was great and when requested they came back with a decorative dish to celebrate my birthday.

    We had heard great things about Ledger, so we decided to give it a try—and overall, it didn’t disappoint! The restaurant itself is stunning with a fantastic atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, and I would definitely recommend making a reservation. However, the service was a bit lacking. Our server was hard to remember, as she only briefly stopped by to take our drink and food orders, and we didn’t see her again after that. Someone else delivered our food, and we had to flag down another waitress to get our bill. While the experience was still enjoyable, a more attentive service would have made it perfect.

    Marina was our server and she is quite possibly the best server that we have ever had at any restaurant that we have ever patronized. She deserves lots of praise!

    Starter plate left on table for the duration of the meal, leaving little room. Food not as described. (Mash on menu) served roast potatoes. All seemed a little rushed. Meal over in 45 minutes. We understand that Halloween is going to be busy, however we pre booked 2 months prior and it all seemed such a rushed, overrated, anticlimax in the end. Wouldn’t eat here again.

    Amazing food, stellar service, and the best vibes in town! I recommend this place to everyone, if they’re looking for something elevated, but not at all pretentious. The staff is phenomenal and it’s always a joy to eat and drink here!

    Popovers were okay. Steak was good but cold when it was received.. I loved the ambiance. Overall this was a 3/5 for me.
