We are located in CARMEL, CALIFORNIA, USA. Reservations are only available through OpenTable up to 3 weeks in advance. Intimate indoor dining room can accommodate parties up to 4 guests- Menu changes seasonally- see website for current menu.

Le Soufflé is a fine dining restaurant serving a traditional French soufflé lunch menu. Everything is exclusively prepared by our Executive Chef/Co-Owner creating a very unique and finely crafted dining experience. The wine list offers a selection of wines from exquisite boutique producers in France and are all available by the glass or bottle. Our guests can look forward to an elegant escape when they step into our intimate and luxurious dining room. We are located on Dolores Street, just two blocks off Ocean Avenue in the beautiful village of Carmel-by-the-Sea.

An elegant lunch with the best soufflés we’ve ever eaten. It was the best lunch in all of Carmel. Go hungry and enjoy every morsel of the rich soufflés while being treated with care. A must do while in Carmel.

Always the best, without fail. We had to adjust to their lunch only hours, but so thankful we did! This meal was the highlight of our anniversary trip♥️

Le Soufflé was a unique dining experience. It is a small restaurant with only a few tables, but it has a very intimate atmosphere. The owner of the restaurant serves the tables, and she is very kind to her customers. We were given a warm baguette with butter and excellent salad with grilled nectarines. We enjoyed the soufflé with the lardons, but we particularly liked the chocolate soufflé. It is a bit expensive, but it is an experience that is worth the price. We’d like to return.

Walking into Le Soufflé was like stepping into a bistro in France. The ambience was elegant, the smell of baking soufflé heavenly. The friendly hostess was very helpful with her suggestion of ordering different items (choice of 2 salads, 4 main course and 3 dessert soufflés) and sharing bites of the different creations. My husband ordered the garlic soufflé with crab sauce and I had the lardons and fromage (bacon and cheese) with leek cream sauce: both were delicious. For dessert, the lighter-than-air strawberry soufflé with homemade strawberry ice cream was our favorite, and the decadent Grand Marnier was divine. Note that they are now only open for lunch, and reservations are required as there are only 4-5 tables. Bon appetit!
