We celebrated our anniversary with brunch at Le Select. Though I've dined there many times for work-related reasons, it was my wife's first time there. Unfortunately my wife had requested the food to be cooked a certain way and it wasn't, so it had to be sent back, which meant we didn't get to eat much of our anniversary meal together. But the waitress was spectacular in the way she handled it, and with all the extra touches to help us celebrate the event. She made our experience wonderful.

This is still a good place with a very nice atmosphere of classic French Bistro. However, foie gras was not as good as it used to be and premium house wines are getting very pricey. In general great but not my favorite place as it used to be.

We had a great mid-week lunch. A real bistro ambiance, friendly and professional service, and fantastic classic French dishes. Definitely the best burger we've had in Toronto with great crispy French fries. The creme Brule was good too, not too sweet and perfect texture

The service was good, our cocktails were lovely. The problem is the actual quality of steak they serve here. The steak frites was a bit cold, very stringy and not tender (the fries also came lukewarm). The half chicken was pretty dry, the server raved that it was very moist but honestly I found it to be a tad overcooked... Really disappointing considering the prices! Also when making the reservation I let them know we were coming to celebrate a birthday so I thought the server would at least mention the celebration and at most we'd get a dessert but nothing happened! Very strange.
