There’s not enough staff to handle this restaurant appropriately. Seems the wait staff was bussing their own tables which certainly gave them no time to be proper servers. It was too noisy to hear my companion. We joked that perhaps we needed to wear those cone collars for dogs to direct our voices across the small table. I remember when the food was good at this restaurant. Seems a thing of the past. We didn’t stay for dinner, but rather opted to leave after a drink and appetizer as we’d been there over an hour and our dinner order still had not been taken. I will not select Le Sélect Bistro in the future.

The French onion soup was excellent! The burger was cold, salty and not worth it. The desert was so so... The place is very loud. The service was ok.

The dining experience at Le Select was wonderful. The food was excellent, and the service was perfectly executed. Melanie, our server was both warm and so professional. She ensured that we finished our dinner on time to get to our show. It made for a perfect venue to celebrate with parents and kids alike.

Been going here since 1983 when it was on Queen St and it’s as good as ever. Great food and the service was impeccable!

Had such a lovely visit with a group of six for dinner. Our server was wonderful, and delightfully formal in the way that a classic restaurant like this be. The food was all amazing, and everyone left very happy and full. The only note is that food took a while between courses, which might bother some people, but it worked in our favour to catch up with each other and not feel rushed. A really lovely place for a nice holiday dinner, and the ambiance was perfect for this time of year.
