We were in the neighborhood and had a really pleasant early Sunday evening dinner. The staff was particularly friendly.

I was a bit disappointed that we did not receive any kind of acknowledgment of our 53rd wedding anniversary & my husband’s 77 birthday.

Beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious. There were 5 of us and everyone was pleased with the pre theatre fixed price menu. I had escargot, beef bourguignon and crème brûlée. Now on my list as a favorite restaurant in NYC.

Good food, authentic French bar quality. Very pricy for the quality of food. Good atmosphere and friendly staff though. As a local New Yorker, I would try a different French restaurant the next time.

In the many years of dining on 'Restaurant Row,' I'm surprised I never dined at Le Rivage. Had lunch there on Thursday prior to a matinee and it was a wonderful experience. In the evenings they feature a Prix Fixe menu (along with an a la carte menu) before Broadway performances. They make the Prix Fixe available in advance of Broadway matinee performances. The food is excellent and there are a great deal of choices. Highly recommend.

From the Kir Royale to dessert, an excellent meal with fantastic choices for every course. Our group enjoyed the baked mussels and escargot as well as the steak frites, boeuf bourguigon and the “famous” onion burger. The chocolate mousse, tarte au pommes and the peach melba were all delicious and the wine selection was great - loved our St Emilion. We’ll be back!!
