    The Price Fixe luncheon is an excellent value because of the excellence of the courses. The stuffed mussels and my sister's Leek salad were both truly memorable. My wife's salad with goat cheese was excellent. As she doesn't care for grape tomatoes, she gave them to me. Warmed and coated with the mussel sauce they, and a crust of bread made enough for a meal. The hanger steak and crisp fries was excellent. Both chocolate desserts were exceptional. Service was extremely personal. We left feeling we were known regulars. It was the first time for all four of us. My sister's companion took home my left-over, not for want of trying, steak and most of my potatoes. I let them go reluctantly because we had matinee tickets.

    Great pre-theater restaurant. Excellent value and food selections. Attentive service. Will definitely return on our next visit to NYC.

    My Mom and I enjoyed our annual NYC day with dinner at Le Rivage based on a recommendation from friend. The food and service by Sunny were first rate. I enjoyed the braised duck foie gras and it was just wonderful. We both had the duck confit entree and it was superb, with very nice accompaniment on the plate: carmelized onions and potatoes, baked apples over greens and olives, on a bed of delicious sauce and black truffle oil. Wow! Desserts were classic French and equally delicious. Great dining experience!

    This is one of those iconic New York City restaurants with brick walls and an intimate feel. The service was wonderful. I had beef bourginon, which was delicious, but a few of the short ribs tasted a little crusty and the lardon was overcooked and chewy. My husband had a nice green salad and a bowl of onion soup which he said was fine. The wine list does not indicate the brand of wine or where it is from, so it was difficult to choose.

    After spending a month in France back in June we were in the mood for authentic French cuisine while in NYC. And we found it!!! Le Rivage exceeded our expectations. Diego was a fantastic server and all employees there were friendly and helpful. Not always the case in NYC. We had the Coq Au Vin and the Beef Bourguignon and they were both perfect. We’ve eaten on that street so many times and didn’t even know this fabulous restaurant was right in front of us. A must pick.

    I had the pre-fixe lunch, which consisted of a choice of an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. The food was excellent and a great value. Very generous portions and the service was very attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    From the delicious food, beautiful interior, and attentive service; Le Rivage is a well-orchestrated masterpiece that is sure to delight all customers. When you go, be sure to ask for Diego as your server. He is genuine, knowledgeable, and treated us with the kindness of a close friend from the moment we entered. Try the escargot and you MUST get the French Onion Soup Burger--the single greatest burger experience that you will ever have the opportunity of tasting. Incroyable!
