Le Parisien est le bistro où il faut absolument se rendre du quartier de Murray Hill. Il vous propose des plats français classiques, comme un steak accompagné de frites, des escargots et des moules marinières, ainsi qu'une carte de vins français bien choisis. Le chef Johnathan Masse vous montrera son expertise de la cuisine réconfortante. Il a récemment travaillé en tant que sous-chef au Waverly Inn, ainsi que pour le chef Jonathan Waxman du Barbuto. Aux côtés du propriétaire Christian Merand, ancien propriétaire du Jean-Claude, à Soho, ils ont créé un restaurant mettant l'accent sur la nourriture traditionnelle, servie dans une atmosphère animée, indéniablement française. Le restaurant est également ouvert tous les jours pour le dîner et le week-end pour les brunchs.

My second time here this year. This is a true neighborhood gem. It has a real French vibe with French staff. Food is delicious. I’m obsessed with the trout.

If you want a French restaurant with good food, but an atmosphere that gives you anxiety, I invite you to dine here. We were served our appetizers before we even received our drinks from the bar and we felt extremely rushed during the entire dinner. The chairs couldn’t be more uncomfortable and you’re cramped in there worse than sitting in a middle seat in coach on a transatlantic flight. It was so loud you can’t hear the person you’re with speak and it was just an enjoyable evening. However, the food was good, but the atmosphere tainted the experience.

Amazing dinner! I will return to NYC just to have dinner there again. Superb food and service. Simply delightful and real. Very small and special- had a lovely time speaking with our fellow diners and getting their choices for next time we visit. If you want excellent, flavorful food that delights- go here. If you like pretentious - then maybe not… it will leave room for those of us who appreciate this wonderful French food experience.

A perfect Valentine’s night! The resturant is so charming and the food is delicious. In fact, it is one of the most authentic French bistros we have been to! Merci beaucoup!

This was a phenomenal meal!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Get past that the restaurant is small. The food is absolutely delicious!!! It has charm & is very authentic.

Le Parisien is my favorite neighborhood restaurant - the food is consistently delicious, it is cozy and charming.
