Michelin-starred Le Jardinier is a unique and refined restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli located in The Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Rooted in timeless French approach, Chef Verzeroli has created a menu where plants play a prominent role: seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, and greens are complemented by wild and sustainable fish with local Texas meats. All our breads are gluten-free and baked in house.

Le Jardinier's light-filled space will evoke a feeling of relaxed-luxury and incorporate custom art pieces with outdoor dining set within an Isamu Noguchi-designed sculpture garden. In 2024, Le Jardinier was awarded one Michelin Star at Texas' Inaugural Michelin Guide.

The cheese course was delicious. Service very nice. Our entrees were cold all 3 in my party. Scallops, risotto and pork all cold. We waited about an hour for our entree which is expected with fine dining. However I do not think it was just fine dining. I am very disappointed in the experience.

This was our second time to dine at Le Jardiniere, and it was even better than the first time! The food was exceptional - we loved the fall menu. The mushroom risotto was sumptuous, and the pork chop with mustard coleslaw was moist and flavorful. The ambience and the service are unmatched. Such an elegant and refined evening!

Great place. Food was a bit pricey. Would have loved more explanation on the 5-course meal.

The food was absolutely incredible. The fall inspired menu was done to absolute perfection. We got help from the sommelier who was incredibly nice when we couldn’t decide which to order with our lunch. Cant wait to go back!

I love that the menu is seasonal. I had an appetizer (garden salad with caramelized anchovy dressing, pickled cauliflower and wafer-thin croutons) and the parisian gnocchi lardons with squash veloute with a lovely sparkling wine. The service was impeccable, and it was surprisingly quiet, given that the restaurant was mostly full for lunch. Beautiful decor and ambiance, would be perfect for entertaining out of town guests or for a special occasion. I hope to go back to enjoy other seasonal menu creations.

The food was truly delicious. We had the cheese plate, the burrata, the mushroom risotto and the ice cream trio. No complaints. The staff seemed a bit green, but were very attentive. I loved the menu design with the fresh leaf inserted at the top corner. Wine list was very good.

It was a lovely white linen dining experience. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air while we were treated fabulously. The food was delightful, the service remarkable, the staff attentive.

In earlier reviews, I raved about the food and the service. Then the next time the wonderful waiter was the only trained waiter on duty. The other people just stood around with water pitchers. Sunday there were clusters of employees hanging around together while the room was 1/2 full. Our waiter must’ve been back in the kitchen helping out. He did want to do a good job. What the place needs is a manager. It’s quite an obvious that you don’t have one. The food remains remarkable but that really isn’t enough.

When we want to impress guests, only Le Jardinier consistently earns rave reviews. Gone are the days where we could get a table almost any night of the week. This place is getting more well-known and we now make reservations well in advance. It's worth the anticipation. Nothin beats walking through the massive new museum hall on the way to checking in with the host. No place in Houston like this. Hands-down - the pinnacle of a Houston fine=dining experience, but within reach. Thank you to David, Thurston, Chefs Alain and Felipe, Elvio, Tia, and the entire crew.
