Le Jardinier is a unique and refined restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli located in The Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Rooted in timeless French approach, Chef Verzeroli has created a menu where plants play a prominent role: seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, and greens are complemented by wild and sustainable fish with local Texas meats. All our breads are gluten-free and baked in house.

Le Jardinier's light-filled space will evoke a feeling of relaxed-luxury and incorporate custom art pieces with outdoor dining set within an Isamu Noguchi-designed sculpture garden.

Most elegant lovely dining experience available in Houston and beyond. Wonderful way to end an outing to take in an exhibit or two at the world class MFAH.

We came in for the taste of Switzerland and we enjoyed it. I was bit surprised with some of the dishes. The first dish was shrimp and main dish was cod. As a landlocked country it didn't seem like taste of that country :-). There was cheese involved which I was expecting and those dishes were delicious. Desert was great! My husband got the NY striploin ($15 up charge) and this is the second time we went in and ordered beef and the meat was not a good quality. We came in for the Houston Restaurant Weeks and we were surprised, but then we explained it by high demand but again $15 up charge. This time it was full price and special event, but we didn't have time to bring it up to the staff. That was disappointing.

We went for Sunday brunch. We really enjoyed our meal for the most part. I ordered the salmon benedict, and it wasn't what I was expecting. The salmon was a salmon salad and not strips of salmon (lox). It had a very fishy taste to it. Also, the egg was undercooked for my taste. I don't mind the yolk being a bit runny but not the white part. I really think the chef should redesign the salmon benedict to have it made with lox and not the salmon salad. If a customer doesn't specify how they want their egg cooked, then the staff should ask. Other than this, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Always top notch and one of the loveliest settings in all of Houston. My only quibble is that the shades that keep the sun out out were left down quite a bit longer than needed. The sun was down and it is always so pleasant to look out onto the sculpture garden. Otherwise, food, cocktails, service were outstanding!
