Overall fantastic place, great service and excellent food. A real bistro. Balthazar for us is not worth the trip anymore after discovering this one

Had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the food—went with French comfort food on a bitter cold night: cassoulet and salmon, both very good. Wait staff was wonderful and it was my birthday so they did what I wish all restaurants would do: give you a little celebration without drawing everyone's attention to you! Will definitely go back.

Food was delicious but drinks, bread, appetizer and main course for the four of us were all served within a brisk 65 minutes. Seemed unnecessary, considering the open tables; and frankly not very French. We mentioned twice that we had a birthday at our table but while the next table -- also celebrating a birthday -- received a candle atop their dessert we received nothing. Good wine selection but overall sadly not a lot to set this rushed experience apart from many other choices in NYC.

Michael’s the man. Duck is ridiculously good. Cocktails are fantastic and really good value compared to other high quality spots

My first visit for dinner tonight with my friend. Food was super delicious...we had onion soup, escargos, duck meal, lava cake n raw oysters and wine and cocktails! Our server Michael (Mike) was amazing. The GM. Jonathan was outstanding definitely a great leader of men and women...he was checking on every table for the 3 hours we were there. He was serving customers. Pulling the slack with his team! I highly recommend this restaurant to friends, family, everyone.

Made reservations well in advance of our trip to NYC. Took a very long cab ride, waited at bar, excellent drinks, couple next to us commented on how good their French onion soup was. Once settled at our table, we were asked to move to a table next to the front door as they had a large table coming in. Once moved, we were informed that they were out of soup, out of paella (their supposed specialty) and other entrees. Our reservation was for 7pm and they were already out of food, decided to leave at this point. To their credit, management overed our drinks at the table and appetizers,

The general manager, Johnathan, was nice and kept checking on everyone. Our waitor Michael was attentive to all tables around us and us. We never felt neglected. This place is amazing! I'm definitely going back. The food and dessert were delicious. The blueberry drink I had loved it!
