Le French is a gourmet, casual-chic French bakery
and bistro located in Denver’s bourgeoning Belleview Station. Le French specializes in high-end pastries and elevated modern Parisian cuisine with global influences, a nod to the sisters’ heritage. Rougui – an award-winning and internationally-recognized chef – helms the restaurant’s kitchen as executive chef. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner every Tuesday through Sunday, Le French also offers an afternoon “Delightful Hour,” featuring carted tea service and small plates; a nightly dessert bar experience with after-dinner wines and classic French cocktails; and weekend brunch. Food was great we went during happy hour..big enough menu to where didn’t need to wait til dinner menu… lovely airy good light environment plus outdoor seating.. waiters attentive and helpful

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The only thing was my medium filet mignon was well done and very chewy, but they corrected it quickly and the second time around it was perfectly medium rare. I would definitely recommend.

I took my son to lunch. He order the Steak Frites and I ordered the Croquet Madame. He ordered his steak, medium, however, it came out almost rare! My sandwich was OK but nothing too rave about. The service was OK but combining that with $100 lunch bill made the experience less than optimum.

Liked the new spin on the crepe I ordered. We sat outside in great weather so noise level was a positive as well.

Yesterday 9/20/24 was my first dining experience at Le French DTC. I met my cousin there for Happy Hour. The food and drinks were so good. I ordered the hamburger. It was "Excellent"!! She had the mussels. She let me have one..Lol!! She enjoys brunch there. I'll definitely be trying out the brunch and spreading the word.

The food was wonderful. The French Onion soup was the best I’ve ever tasted. Our server Abbie was top notch. I love the flowers outside too. Just a fabulous place. I’m looking forward to going again soon.

Le French is a favorite place to eat, good food choices, generally good value. The most recent visit, a Thursday for lunch, wasn't up to their usual level. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, as table for 2 in a row of tables that can be setup (moved apart or together) for seating for 2 or 4. Service was prompt as was food delivery. I ordered the vegetable crepe, the cheese layer seemed "off", it was rubbery and had an 'oily' top layer. My friend ordered the jambon and formage crepe with added avocado. The price of the avocado option isn't listed on the menu. It's $5 for half an avocado - seems pretty expensive to me. While we were eating a hostess came and moved the adjacent tables for a 4 top to 2 tables for 2. Separating the tables meant there was less space between tables, to the point that when we were leaving I had to slide our table over so I could get out without brushing against either table. Next visit we'll be sure to get a window side table so we don't have that issue.
