Le French is a gourmet, casual-chic French bakery
and bistro located in Denver’s bourgeoning Belleview Station. Le French specializes in high-end pastries and elevated modern Parisian cuisine with global influences, a nod to the sisters’ heritage. Rougui – an award-winning and internationally-recognized chef – helms the restaurant’s kitchen as executive chef. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner every Tuesday through Sunday, Le French also offers an afternoon “Delightful Hour,” featuring carted tea service and small plates; a nightly dessert bar experience with after-dinner wines and classic French cocktails; and weekend brunch. Our waitress was fun and attentive! The food was good and the truffle fries were outstanding. We had some important things to discuss and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend.

Two older gal-friends had a lovely evening eating dinner at Le French. We felt like we were at a Bistro in France. We started with a Charcuterie Plate to share and then we each ordered French Onion Soup. Both were just wonderful. I had a Kir (best in the city). We ordered a Pavlova desert to share which was so yummy and beautiful to look at. The Waitress and other staff were great. We have to advise that I ordered a cup of coffee to go with the Pavlova, which was a bit steep. $5.30, which was a surprise. However, overall I think their menu pricing is reasonable. Definitely recommend Le French!

We had reservations at 11:30 we were seated promptly by the window as requested. The server was with us very quickly. As we frequently eat at le French we're familiar with the menu and ordered quickly. Our beverages and food were brought to the table very quickly and were delicious. It seems like the servings are getting larger as neither of us could finish our entree. One quibble, the $5 charge for about a quarter of an avocado on a crepe seems a bit excessive.

We always enjoy the quiet and inviting feel of Le French. Perfect spot for a dinner for two or nice night out with friends. The food is always delicious!!

Charcuterie had no cheese, tough meat, and gross mystery mush. French onion soup was room temperature and congealed. The mussels were incredibly sandy and gritty to an inedible level and the sauce they were in had good flavor that was overpowered by salt. Drinks were decent. The service was not attentive and passive. Dinner was way more expensive than it was worth. Extremely disappointed in the food, service, and atmosphere.

Hello, thank you for the feedback... just to clarify, our Charcuterie is just a meat platter, if you wanted cheese with it we also have a Charcuterie and Fromage platter, and if you just want the cheese plate it's our Fromage platter. Regarding our mussels, I'll reiterate to our chef to make sure we aren't oversalting them as well. Thank you again for the feedback, hopefully we can get you to try us again soon and we can go into detail over our menu options to ensure you have the best experience.

We had a lovely lunch. The food was terrific. The noise level was a bit high and service a bit slow (but good). It was a busy day at the restaurant.
