The two of us, spent over $1000 for dinner. There were several disappointments in both quality of service, presentation and preparation of our food. Clearly Le Crocodile V2.0 has been found entirely wanting. I'm resisting turning this review into a book and will just focus on a couple of points. My girlfriend’s meat was served to her medium rear instead of medium as she asked, our individual dishes for oysters on the half shell were not served together and we ended up picking from each others plate, The steak Tartar, although tasty, the presentation was bland and uninspiring, not even a quail’s egg on top to brighten it up. Our Monte Cristo's were served lukewarm (they went back), our table was not cleaned of breadcrumbs, and I couldn't even get something as simple as a replacement napkin for our $1000 meal. My napkin dropped to the floor; they picked it up but neglected to give me a new one. I waited the entire evening to see if they would, but nope! I remember a time, many years ago... if you left your table, upon your return, you would find your napkin neatly folded like a hat on your table, ah..... the good old days. I was hoping for a better all-round experience under new management, with better service and a fresh new menu. Sadly, it seems that even though the food is still good, the furnishings are different, its the same old Le Croc's that does not quite live up to its gravitas.

Went to Le Crocodile to celebrate a birthday. We had an absolutely amazing dinner. Both had the tasting menu which tasted and looked incredible. Seemed like each course just got better!

Le Crocodile was hopping. By 5:30, the dining room was full. I guess there are many diners like us eager to see what Rob Feenie has done to the venerable Le Crocodile. We also chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The menu had a good selection though I miss the long list of "specials" that the old male waiters used to announce. Food at Le Crocodile was generally good. We had the mushroom soup, beet + burrata salad, duck, lamb, veal, profiteroles, apple tart, and wine. All good, though I was expecting more of a tarte tartin when ordering dessert. However, the baguette at the beginning (you have to pay for, not complimentary) was rather disappointing. The crust was rubbery. No sound of crunch when we bit into it and had to give it a good pull while we clamped our teeth into it. Surely, a french restaurant should be able to do bread well? Either the supplier (Small Victory) is no good or the kitchen didn't prepare it well. Service was excellent. Restaurant well staffed. It was expensive, but the portions were generous and the staff attentive. I think when the restaurant is full, they need a larger ladies' room. We were away from the table for a fairly long time as there was a lengthy wait for the two toilets! I don't recall ever having to queue so long for a toilet, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. We missed the crocodile shaped chocolate at the end :(

Our table did the tasting menu and the food was fabulous. We all tried items we would not order normally but were thrilled with them. Absolutely one of the best meals we have had in years. It was my parents 60th anniversary. The meal and wait staff did not disappoint.

We did the food and wine pairing. All good. Our wine server was over the top excellent! Rob Fernie dropped by our table for a little chat. Overall a very fun evening.

It was fantastic, from the beginning to the end. It was a Birthday celebration, but really, it was a celebration of food and great service. The sauces are to die for. Chef Feenie at his best.

Alexan is the best waiter n help… not only did he suggest great food … he’d also gave us a france 🇫🇷 overview of where to go and what to enjoy while traveling very homey restaurant… comfortable thank u for a fabulous evening

Absolutely wonderful dining experience! We were there for lunch. Johnny our server was perfect, and Jill knew her wines and was a pleasure as well! Service could not have been better! Fro. The moment of our arrival, to leaving, staff made us feel welcomed and pampered. The escargot was perfect! We also enjoyed the Steak frites and tar tar. Would definitely recommend this lovely place on a rainy afternoon…a true treat.
