With locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Delray Beach, Houston, and Naples, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of sophistication and opulence. Celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver exquisite attention to detail in the luxurious, classic, and romantic atmosphere of Lake Forest’s lively Market Square District. This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant. Found it to be such a great experience as I did the first time. Wonderful ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious food. I gave it 5 stars and would not hesitate to recommend Le Colonial to family and friends.

Food was great Unfortunately they did not give us a plate or utensils and it took us forever to get someone Also no napkins so we had to use the table cloth again took a long time to get napkins Food is very good

I dined with my two dear girlfriends this evening and we had a perfect dinner! We all had the salmon and it was my first time, WOWZA. I can honestly say that is thee best salmon I’ve ever eaten!! I could eat that five days a week!! And, Paul graciously had our favorite table reserved for me and made sure we were taken care of in every way. My friend accidentally splattered her top with some sauce and Paul was so kind to bring over a cloth with some detergent to use on her blouse. That’s service!!! Thank you Paul! Another lovely evening at the beautiful Le Colonial!

Delicious food with many safe gluten free options. Our service was outstanding. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!

Le Colonial completely exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, the service was top notch, the drinks were amazing and the ambiance was perfection. We’re excited to return and try more dishes on their fabulous menu.

Food never disappoints! The staff is always attentive and courteous, especially Daniela, who makes our visits special whenever we are waiting for our table in the bar area. She never fails to greet us and make us feel welcomed!

Our server Hugo ws fabulous... The food was amazing as well. Cocktails were wonderful. The manager was great as well. Will definitely go back soon...We are never disappointed at the Lake Forest spot.
