Service was poor--maybe was new or had too many tables but rarely checked with us. Had to ask someone else to take give desser menus after he said he would get them.

Excellent addition to Cherry Creek and to Denver generally. The food was great and the service was excellent.

We were so looking forward to dining at Le Colonial on Christmas Eve. The interior design beautifully transports you back in time to French Colonial Vietnam. Unfortunately that's where the positive ended in our experience there. In a nutshell, they were NOT prepared to handle a full house in any way: --The hostesses seemed confused about available tables --The wait person couldn't keep up, water was not refilled, and the two drinks took way too long. --The clincher for us is seeing at least three tables near us left unbussed. Unappetizing to say the least. Not immediately bussing tables in a fine dining venue like this is unforgivable. So is a dirty, greasy chopstick holder I had to point out. When the wait person finally came around to take our order we said it was so unappetizing that we would wait until the adjacent tables were bussed. We only saw one bus person, which was woefully inadequate. The wait person took on the task as best she could, which should not be her job. When still waiting for the tables to be refreshed we finally gave up and told them we would not be staying. I will say the food looked tantalizing, but it just wasn't worth the slog. A restaurant of this calibre must be flawless (yes, missteps happen but not everything everywhere all at once)) in ALL areas: timely, well choreographed service; ambience; food presentation and quality; cleanliness/tidiness. Le Colonial failed by every measure (food TBD). What makes it especially unacceptable is that Christmas Eve is virtually ALL reservations so the crowd wasn't a surprise and they simply should have been prepared and staffed up and well trained. --The restaurant appeared to have stuffed extra tables/seating for the Christmas Eve service, I assume to maximize revenue; consequently we felt squeezed in. The aisles were so narrow between tables/chairs that the serving people kept knocking into my chair. Seemingly minor but it's not. It's avoidable. Hopefully Le Colonial reads this.

Entrance to restaurant was crowded.. M Music too loud by waitress had them lower. Made it better Delicious food & good service

Le Colonial is always delicious and this new Denver location is just as wonderful as the others. So happy to have it open and close
