Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Lake Forest, Houston, and Naples, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of sophistication and opulence. Celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver exquisite attention to detail in the luxurious, classic, and romantic atmosphere of Delray’s lively beachfront town square. For special occasions, our private dining space provides a bespoke setting for unforgettable celebrations.

We politely ask that our guests return the favor by joining us sans any of the subsequent athleisure attire. No athletic wear or athletic attire, designer athletic lines of any kind and model, beach flip flops or any beach attire, athletic slides, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining.

Top ten experience. All expectations were met and exceeded. Isabella was a super professional. Food was exceptional and ambiance/ atmosphere was wonderful.

I had a 715 res but showed up quite early 615. The mgr never made any attempt to sit us early. No front desk person came over once as we had drinks and appies in the bar. When I approached no personality mgr he said the next table. By now it was 715. At 725 they sat us. Food is good not great. Wine by the glass is terrible. $13 bottles cost offered at $20 a glass. They will have there day. Still a hot ticket in town

We do not recommend sitting outside. The weather was beautiful but the loud cars on Atlantic were very distracting.

The ambiance is beautiful taking you to Saigon. The food was excellent. The Bouillabaisse was terrific as were the chicken dumplings and the carmelized apple tart. The service matched the food and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Looking forward to going back again.

Celebrating my birthday, my husband and I loved every minute! I’d only been to the bar before, but ever since, couldn’t wait to return for their French Martini! When our waiter, Daniel, came by, I rued, “My favorite cocktail is no longer on your menu!!” He said he’d check. When he returned a few minutes later, he said the only bartender who used to make it just “happened” to be at the restaurant that night, so as a special birthday treat, he would make one! Happy Bday to ME!

Great appetizers, mediocre main courses (5 that we had). I would advise to stay with several appetizers, they are unforgettable. The service are the better you can dream about.

We had a great time at Le Colonial Delray Beach we sat at the captains table and had a wonderful service. The food was outstanding. This was a prefix menu for Valentine’s Day. The service was impeccable. The ambience was great! Highly recommend.

Service, drinks and ambiance were great but my God the price did not justify the prix-fix menu for Valentine’s Day. I could have flown the wife somewhere close for a night or two for $400 lol. We still plan on going back on a regular night to try some of the items that weren’t available on Valentine’s Day.

We walked in and were seated right away. The ambiance was really nice upscale pretty and tables not on top of each other The service was excellent and every dish even better It is our new go to place when in Del Rey
