Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and Lake Forest, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of romance and soft architecture. Heralded as "an escapist’s paradise," celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver on exquisite attention to detail in a luxurious classic and idyllic atmosphere.

DRESS CODE:
We put all our love and effort in creating an unforgettable experience with you in mind. It is for this reason we politely ask that our guests return the favor by joining us sans any of the subsequent athleisure attire. No athletic wear or athletic attire, designer athletic lines of any kind and model, beach flip flops or any beach attire, athletic slides, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining. No baseball caps. Seasonal changes may apply.

Palm beach ambience, pretty restaurant-great lighting. Food is Asian upscale. Love the shrimp spring rolls. Healthy entree selections. Upscale & not overpriced.

Outdoor dining was unbearably hot . More fans and air circulation needed. We have eaten indoors many times and it’s lovely

We cannot express enough how much my husband and I enjoyed the dining experience. From location to ambience to service to food! Everything was absolutely excellent!

Isabella was our server (Captain) and she was amazing! We told her we had limited time and she suggested some small plates (ribs, dumplings, tuna tartare) and a large plate (sizzling beef) to share and WOW! She (and the food) did not disappoint. She was fun, yet professional, knowledgeable and attentive! This was our first time dining here and we were so pleased. She recommended we get the pineapple upsidedown cake, but we felt like chocolate, so we ordered the special chocolate cake with flaming hot chocolate sauce and ice cream served table side. It was yummy, but we’re sure her recommendation would have blown us away, since she didn’t steer us wrong before. Next time. What a great night. Table 18.
