We put all our love and effort in creating an unforgettable experience with you in mind. It is for this reason we politely ask that our guests return the favor by joining us sans any of the subsequent athleisure attire. No athletic wear or athletic attire, designer athletic lines of any kind and model, beach flip flops or any beach attire, athletic slides, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining. No baseball caps. Seasonal changes may apply.

Exceptional evening. Arrived early and was seated immediately after a warm greeting from the hostess. Beautiful environment and ambience. Very quiet and comfortable considering how many people. Our server Sue promptly came over and helped us select items for my dietary needs (no soy — ample delicious options). Food came quickly and was beautifully presented. Generous portions and delicious. Plates were quickly and efficiently cleared. Sue and the matre d’ stopped by a few times to check on us. The desserts were beautiful and delicious. Noticed people of all ages, even a father with a toddler. Looking forward to our next visit.

We love this place so much. They’re always very accommodating for my service dog. It’s a great place to take out of towners for something different than typical Florida fair of mahi tacos and overcook spaghetti. We had so much fun last night that we’re coming back tonight.

Walking in to Le Colonial is like walking back to the era of British colonial rule in the Caribbean. The restaurant is divided into 3 areas: Bar/lounge, main dining room, and outdoor dining. The menu consists of a variety of meat and fish dishes, all prepared with a French/Vietnamese slant. All of the dishes we tried were well-prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. I started with the Heritage Pork Ribs, which fell off the bone and had a slight spice kick. My main dish was halibut with "La Vong" scent. Again, a delicious, thick halibut steak, prepared with an asian flair. My companions enjoyed their seafood bouillabaisse, spicy shrimp stir-fry, and yellow chicken curry. All had surprising tastes and smells that enhanced the dining experience. We ended our meal with a Vanilla Peach Coconut Mille-Feuille and a Che Chuoi Organic Tapioca Pudding, which consisted of warm tapioca and caramelized banana. My only complaint was that the service was spotty. There were long lapse between receiving our menus and taking our order, a long time for the food to come to the table, and we couldn't fine our server to get drink refills. It was a very busy night. So, that may account for some, but not all of the spotty service issues.

The food was very good however the service was so slow. We waited 20 minutes for cocktails in the lounge which ultimately had to be delibered to our table. The wait between the waiter acknowledging us and returning to see if we had questions was long. The appitizer was delivered relatively quickly however dinner was another 50 minutes to wait and not once did he come and reassure or apologize for the delay. The manager did not stop by to check on us. It's a shame because the food and drinks were very good. I will not return.

Special occasion, want to be seen, hang with the a-listers or fashionistas or just looking for exceptional food, service and ambience... go to Le Colonial. True, if you are on the patio your conversations may be interrupted by revving "go fast" sports cars. Definitely a place to dine and gaze.
