Le Colonial is a celebration of seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s. With locations in Chicago, Houston, Atlanta and Lake Forest, the famed Vietnamese restaurant is designed to capture a bygone era of romance and soft architecture. Heralded as "an escapist’s paradise," celebrated restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Joe King deliver on exquisite attention to detail in a luxurious classic and idyllic atmosphere.

DRESS CODE:
We put all our love and effort in creating an unforgettable experience with you in mind. It is for this reason we politely ask that our guests return the favor by joining us sans any of the subsequent athleisure attire. No athletic wear or athletic attire, designer athletic lines of any kind and model, beach flip flops or any beach attire, athletic slides, tank tops (men), cut-offs, sweatpants, exposed undergarments and excessively revealing clothing for indoor and outdoor dining. No baseball caps. Seasonal changes may apply.

The atmosphere is so East Asian. The cocktails are well balanced. The appetizers are fabulous but and the chef will not serve a dish that isn’t perfect. We ordered the snapper and it didn’t come out the way he wanted. It was the last one in the kitchen so our unbelievable waiter told us we wouldn’t get it last night. Love this Delray gem

Service was amazing. We had the delicious ravioli appetizer and spring roll. We had the amazing whole snapper fish. Was enough for two people to share. Service was very good. Waiters and waitresses go out of their way to be attentive and helpful with choices.

Le Colonial is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. Our favorite appetizer that we always get two of is the Vietnamese spring rolls. The chicken pan fried dumplings are good too. The whole branzino is our favorite main course to go with the garlic green beans side and a fried rice. The food quality is very consistent and the service is always spot on.

Le Colonial is by far my favorite restaurant! The decor is stunning and you feel like you’re in another world! The food is excellent and never disappoints! I highly recommend Le Colonial for a special evening out!

Again and again this restaurant never disappoints. After 20+ years of eating at this top of the line restaurant I was extremely happy with everything. The New York location was absolutely beautiful and always on top of their game. Philadelphia also a top notch establishment. We’ve been to the Delray location a dozen times since the opening and have yet to say anything negative about it. Love love love this place

When I arrived at the restaurant I was informed to my surprise that my reservation was for outside. I said that I’d rather be inside as it was fairly warm and the street traffic was loud. No tables available inside I was told. I sat down outside and a little while later apparently a supervisor came and brought me to an inside table. I was grateful but not appreciative of the earlier service. The meal was excellent and the server was superb.
