Le Chai was an incredible experience. I’m visiting from Los Angeles and didn’t know where to go in Brooklyn with a long time friend. The ambience was perfect. Food was a wonderful fusion of Thai Asian and American dishes. It also boasts of having the best steaks and chops. I saw lots of beautiful plates being served. For me I chose traditional Asian dish - Singapore Noodles with shrimp and lobster. The dish was a delight to my palate with fresh vegetables sweet onion and choice seasonings that make this dish memorable even the day after. Great drinks with a heavy pour. They make a mean dirty gin martini. The ambiance was perfect great music not too loud that you have to shout to be heard. Beautiful setting and decor inviting and totally transformative. You walk in and it is a surprise upscale fine dine. The service was great and very attentive. I’ll definitely go back.

The staffs were friendly and always smiling. Food was top notched and the drinks were just perfect to hit the spot. Loved my experience and definitely will be back

Fantastic first time here. Latifah, the bartender mixed a perfect hibiscus drink. Our server was patient, knowledgeable and so friendly. We will be back!

Food choices limited and both sisters dishes were spicy to the point of being unable to eat them despite requesting mild or medium but they did prepare a new dish less spicy upon request. Service and ambience great but overpriced menu items.

The ambience is great, The service was great. People constantly came and checked to make sure we were OK. Our server Nasir was great !

My original reservation was canceled and when I attempted to contact the restaurant, I wasn’t able to speak to anyone to get an explanation. When I arrived to my confirmed reservation the restaurant was closed. Very disappointing.

Ok i didn’t want to write this review cause i normally don’t write reviews on any restaurant I just don’t go back and call it a day. I came to this restaurant (le chai) for my birthday celebration on August 3 which is a Saturday night for the first time. when we reach we were greeted very nicely at the door by the host which was very pleasant and lovely, she directed us to back to sit us down but there was no table were available because in there was very full .The host ask me kindly if I can wait for 5 minutes she will check to see if there is no empty table I said ok no problem go ahead. After she find a table for me and my girls we went straight to the drinks and entrée since we waited for couple minutes to be seated plus it was getting late. After we place our order for the drinks and food me and my girls was chilling till the drinks came and from there we were waiting for the food to come, after 1 hour of waiting no food came out we ask the waitress what’s going on she said she is going to check the kitchen to see what’s going on. In the meantime while she was doing that we noticed a table infront of us just getting there food after we come in and see them in there for along time, 2 hours come still no food so I ask for the manager she came and apologized and said she will check the kitchen to see what’s going on and said the second round of drinks is on the house she went in the kitchen and come out and said it’s coming smh after waiting a next hour still no food sent back for the manager she ignored us which is very rude . After waiting for almost 3 hours for the food the food finally come out around 12:34 close to there closing hours which is 1:00 am which is ridiculous after waiting for hours for our food some come out and the rest didn’t I of to get up get mad and get the owner for the restaurant. I am not sure if this is his first business of operating a restaurant but he need more understanding of running a business he is very unprofessional.
