I came here to take my children out for fine dining at a local restaurant. My daughter (6) and son (2). Reservation was for 10:30 pm and we arrived at 10:11pm. We were seated right away and the hostess was AMAZING (warm, funny, welcoming) nothing short of perfect! We ordered drinks with the waitress (sprite and orange juice) and it took 20 minutes to come out. I had to ask the waitress for an eta on it first then she brought it out. It’s now 11:15 pm and no food. Ny children are restless and lethargic and most importantly hungry. We are vegetarian so our order consisted of mostly sides (boc choy, French fries, vegetable soup, mashed potatoes, vegetable fried rice, vegetable lomein). I waited and kept asking any waitress that would pass as ours seem to have been avoiding us. The hostess came to our table to check on us and we advised her we never got any food. She was shocked as it’s been an hour since we’ve been seated. She went to check on our food and came back apologetic and offered accommodations for the wait. This was more than our waitress has done. Again our waitress was avoiding us. I saw another waitress and asked her to cancel the food order and bring the bill for the drinks we had. It is now 12 am. We waited an hour and a half with no food. Our waitress came over and advised us that she spoke to the manager and they said we didn’t have to pay for the sprites and orange juice. There were several guests that came after us that were seated and served. A manager never came to us directly. We left out and the hostess was super apologetic. A man who I assumed was the manger was there as well as I expressed to the hostess what happened and he turned around and walked away. It was a terrible experience. After midnight I had to go home and cook dinner so that my children had something to eat.

The food was absolutely amazing, but the waitress needs assistance in how to serve drinks and how to be a little bit warmer to customers. I believe we were very polite with her, but holding a glass where people's mouths are isn't appropriate or sanitary. Secondly, we have to keep the integrity of this business up because there aren't a lot of black-owned businesses in Brooklyn like this! Overall everything was amazing except the waitress .

Got together with a group of friends and the food, drinks, music and the amviance were amazing. We will defiantly be back again.

Le Chai was an incredible experience. I’m visiting from Los Angeles and didn’t know where to go in Brooklyn with a long time friend. The ambience was perfect. Food was a wonderful fusion of Thai Asian and American dishes. It also boasts of having the best steaks and chops. I saw lots of beautiful plates being served. For me I chose traditional Asian dish - Singapore Noodles with shrimp and lobster. The dish was a delight to my palate with fresh vegetables sweet onion and choice seasonings that make this dish memorable even the day after. Great drinks with a heavy pour. They make a mean dirty gin martini. The ambiance was perfect great music not too loud that you have to shout to be heard. Beautiful setting and decor inviting and totally transformative. You walk in and it is a surprise upscale fine dine. The service was great and very attentive. I’ll definitely go back.

The staffs were friendly and always smiling. Food was top notched and the drinks were just perfect to hit the spot. Loved my experience and definitely will be back

Fantastic first time here. Latifah, the bartender mixed a perfect hibiscus drink. Our server was patient, knowledgeable and so friendly. We will be back!

Food choices limited and both sisters dishes were spicy to the point of being unable to eat them despite requesting mild or medium but they did prepare a new dish less spicy upon request. Service and ambience great but overpriced menu items.
