We recently dined at LB's Restaurant and were disappointed with our experience. Despite a quiet night, we were seated in the back of the room with some of us facing away from the beautiful view. There was ample space for us to sit at a table that would accommodate everyone and allow us to enjoy the view, which seemed like a missed opportunity, especially considering the restaurant was nearly empty. The food was average, and the service was poor. Our waiter accidentally spilled red wine while pouring, and made no effort to clean up the mess. We were also asked to keep our silverware for the next course, which we found unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive, and it is unlikely that we will return.

I found the food to be decent, but unfortunately, the price doesn’t quite match the quality or quantity on the plate. The environment was fine, though nothing particularly special. On a positive note, the service was lovely. The staff took a thoughtful approach, checking in with us regularly and gradually introducing additional options. Their attentiveness and care were appreciated.

Food was delicious. Wish they had larger serving of accompaniments with the meals. Instead of having to order extra sides. Steak was 46$ with only a small potato and some greens. It was well cooked. The service was attentive without being obtrusive. The male Asian waiter was superb. Lovely personality. It was Mums 80th birthday and we had a wonderful table m. Not too noisy either. A lovely warm inviting restaurant from the cold.

Really nice food, and a stunning view across the harbour. Mains are quite small, so expect to have 3 courses.

They don't keep their promises. Had booked a window seat and confirmed over the phone. When we arrived they were all taken and they just apologised.

Dear Ron W, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. However, we understand your disappointment regarding the seating allocation issue. Allow us to shed some light on the situation. As you mentioned, your reservation was made for a window seat. However, on Valentine's Day, one of our busiest evenings, we receive numerous requests for window seats. Seating allocations were made based on the date the booking was made, as we explained to you on the night, and in this case, we received requests for window seats well in advance, some dating back to mid-January. Despite our best efforts, due to the high demand, we were unable to accommodate all requests. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon.
