LB Steak is a modern American steakhouse that delivers an elevated dining experience in a comfortably elegant space. The menu features a wide variety of hand-cut, perfectly prepared Prime Angus Steaks and imported, rare, and exclusive A5 Japanese Wagyu selections, all aged and hand cut in our butcher shop. The whiskey and bourbon selection is sure to satisfy the tastes of the most discerning connoisseurs. A comprehensive range of domestic and imported wines complement the menu. While the goal is to showcase the range and potential of global wines and varietals pairing with the LB Steak menu, we still pay homage to tradition and dedicate a large portion of the wine list to standouts among Bordeaux varietals, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon.

I dined at LB on 10/13/24 for a birthday dinner. I will say our waitress was wonderful. Nice ambiance. Drinks were great. The food....I don't know where to begin. Totally lackluster and extremely disappointing. The steaks had absolutely no flavor. No sear whatsoever, so it must have been cooked in a pan. Just blah. I can cook a better steak than this place. I had to switch my steak with my daughter because it was so overly salted. I didn't even eat it. Hers was just as bland. There was nothing special about the sauces that came with it. One of our guests had the chicken. He literally tok 3 bites and couldn't eat anymore. The only thing I enjoyed were the scallops and shrimp that I added on the side. This restaurant is very expensive. Dinner was almost $600. I literally felt robbed. I have never paid so much money for completely abysmal food. We should have sent it back. Seeing our plates with so much food left on them and only one person took their food home, I was really shocked that no one commented or asked if their was a problem. I would go for drinks if I was in the area but I wouldn't ever order food again. Extremely disappointed.

Been here a few times and experience has been good.....very consistent with both service and food. Servers are always friendly and give options and explanations. Food is prepared as promised and steaks are always cooked as requested and other food delicious too. The drink menu(s) are extensive and both cocktail and wine selections are impressive.

LB Steak at City Center in San Ramon checks all of my boxes for special occasions and important business meetings. The menu and wine list will meet the highest expectations. Most importantly, the staff are very professional and understand the unique requirements of business dinner meetings. My experience last night was exceptional thanks to our server, Mike (I think) and the personal attention of Jennifer.

Three of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye @$60 each. Steak was flavorless, very fatty, no sear. Could have grilled a better steak at home from Safeway! Sides were great. Service very good.
