LB Steak is a modern American steakhouse that delivers an elevated dining experience in a comfortably elegant space. The menu features a wide variety of hand-cut, perfectly prepared Prime Angus Steaks and imported, rare, and exclusive A5 Japanese Wagyu selections, all aged and hand cut in our butcher shop. The whiskey and bourbon selection is sure to satisfy the tastes of the most discerning connoisseurs. A comprehensive range of domestic and imported wines complement the menu. While the goal is to showcase the range and potential of global wines and varietals pairing with the LB Steak menu, we still pay homage to tradition and dedicate a large portion of the wine list to standouts among Bordeaux varietals, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon.

Although we enjoyed the ambiance, the drinks, and feel of the restaurant, we did not enjoy the steak and much as we have in the past. Maybe there has been a vendor change? Our NY strip steak lacked any seasoning and was tough. We could tell immediately there was a problem and that it would be dry. On the plus side- the oysters we ordered were excellent, as well as the gulf prawns and the wedge salad. We’d come back again for those, but sadly, not the steak. The dessert- a chocolate lava cake was the best- thanks to the staff for the birthday treat.

First I would like to say Anna our server was great. She was running around as they were short staffed but tried to ensure we had a great dinner. Overall the food was decent but for the price the total experience was not great. A restaurant that charges for bread ($6.00 btw it was stale) and a 4%+tax “living wage” should not be in a located in a shopping mall and allow hoodies and baseball caps to be worn in the restaurant. Also, if you are planning on buying a bottle of wine be prepared to spend some $$$. Most bottles well over $200 for an average bottle. There are only a few bottles $90-$100 and they retail for $35-$40. I do understand the restaurant mark-up but this is ridiculous. Again, you are in a mall. We looked out to a dumpling restaurant. It gave the feels of a Chili’s with the price tag of a Michelin star restaurant. We will not be returning.

I Went there to celebrate my guy friends 80th birthday Sunday which was 1/2 off all bottles of wines under 500.00, we had Moet Champagne, it was delicious w our Filet Mignon which was nicely done along with the twice baked potatoe w crispy skin, thankyou, and the Ceaser and wedge salad, delicious! We requested a booth, very comfortable and the noise level was low which we like. Our waitress Maria was the ultimate professional and sommelier. We enjoyed The Lot it was pleasant and safe w parking very near, we wanted to get ice cream after at Salt & Straw but we were full and ready for a walk near our home, next time! A wonderful experience all around, we went to the Blackhawk Museum beforehand, that’s a hidden beauty, it shouldn’t be missed!

We love coming back here and enjoy our waiter Michael who always helps us. We ask for him all the time. He's just very nice. The owner of the restaurant is also another diamond in the rough. We love to see him and chat with him each time we come in. He even surprised us on our anniversary with front row tickets to one of the concerts at The Lot. The one time we had a steak cooked incorrectly, they rushed it away and brought us a new meal immediately. They definitely treat their customers like VIPs and I will keep going back not only for the amazing food, but for their wonderful staff.

Octopus appetizer was very tasty. Enjoyed the lobster roll and my friend loved the crab cake sandwich. We finished with a tasty crème brûlée. Neither of us were in the mood for beef but need to go back when we are! Our server recommended an excellent wine. He was terrific!

I was expecting better flavors and execution of the food. We ordered what our server said was their most popular appetizer, which was calamari and prawns. The prawns were good but the calamari was not cut properly, so we ended up with a big portion of uncooked batter. It was so much we thought maybe it was sauce. The sever and manager took great care of the situation and comped us a different appetizer. We got the steak tar tar that was decent but not great. The flavor was good but the meat was a bit tough and not cut properly. My guess is there was a new cook in the kitchen.

I dined at LB on 10/13/24 for a birthday dinner. I will say our waitress was wonderful. Nice ambiance. Drinks were great. The food....I don't know where to begin. Totally lackluster and extremely disappointing. The steaks had absolutely no flavor. No sear whatsoever, so it must have been cooked in a pan. Just blah. I can cook a better steak than this place. I had to switch my steak with my daughter because it was so overly salted. I didn't even eat it. Hers was just as bland. There was nothing special about the sauces that came with it. One of our guests had the chicken. He literally tok 3 bites and couldn't eat anymore. The only thing I enjoyed were the scallops and shrimp that I added on the side. This restaurant is very expensive. Dinner was almost $600. I literally felt robbed. I have never paid so much money for completely abysmal food. We should have sent it back. Seeing our plates with so much food left on them and only one person took their food home, I was really shocked that no one commented or asked if their was a problem. I would go for drinks if I was in the area but I wouldn't ever order food again. Extremely disappointed.
