Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

We have loved every single visit to Lazia and this one was no different. The menu offers a balance of adventurous bites and Italian traditions, but all are equally delicious. The service here can’t be matched by any other KC restaurant—wait staff remembers us each time, even if they’ve only personally helped us once before, and continues to be the friendliest staff we’ve ever met. They go out of their way to celebrate special occasions and make a regular visit more special. You can’t go wrong with a reservation here.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed… And I hate to say this because I was excited to try a new place… to start with the restaurant is extremely loud… They need some insulation so people can have a conversation… We were told to order all of our choices and they would course them out… Which they did but after two hours we only had three items… And we were tired of waiting… I felt bad for the waitress… And the manager was very kind… And did not make any excuses and apologized… we left without trying 2 $75 entrées …I’m not sure if they were understaffed in the back of the house…And I would also suggest when somebody orders a glass of wine that you pour a half an inch too much than a half an inch too little… this could be a great place, but they need to work these things out…

The food was amazing and the service was friendly and thoughtful. The only drawback was the preparation time. We ordered several courses and our meal came over the course of nearly two hours. By the time our final pasta course arrived, we were too full to enjoy much of it.

It was a wonderful dining experience, with attentive and engaging wait staff. We enjoyed every dish. The menu is unique and flavorful. Highly recommend Lazia for date night or fun evening out with friends.

Absolutely fantastic meal and service. The ambiance was beautiful and our food was exceptional! Our waiter guided us on how to order for our table. The mozzarella cheese pull is a MUST! So fun to watch and divine! A definite must try in KC!

Our first visit to Lazia was a very good one. It is located in a very unique space that took some doing to navigate as newbies. The food was excellent and the staff were all very professional and helpful, especially our server Abbie.

“No bread for you” sat down without the usual aperitif I’ve always received when we ate there. Asked for some bread as we were all very hungry and hadn’t decided which menu items we were going to order. “Chef won’t allow us to give bread without ordering, he doesn’t want you filling up on bread.” Uh ok. We’ll order drinks on an empty stomach I guess. Order drinks and one comes out with a long hair on it. “We’re going to remake that for you” uh yes, goes without saying. What they did well - my daughter has a gluten allergy and they were great about letting us know what items were gluten friendly and which would need a modification and which simply weren’t possible. The rest of the experience: non va bene

We are constantly working to improve our service and will be addressing the concerns from your visit with our team. While we do encourage our guests to place their entire order at one time so we are able to course your meal appropriately, that is not intended to deny individual orders for things such as bread. The missed aperitif and unfortunate need to remake a drink will be discussed with our bar team as well. I'm glad to hear that the guidance provided to your daughter for her gluten allergy was helpful and a positive part of your dining experience.
