Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Italians do not celebrate Thanksgiving and typically are a bit perplexed by the concept, often referring to it as “La Fiesta del Tacchino” (“The Turkey Party”). We are leaning into this simplified concept by offering turkey 3 ways, each dish inspired by our tried-and-true Italian roots. Celebrating Thanksgiving at Lazia is the best opportunity to experience the Italian tradition of a hearty meal with family and friends along with a modern American holiday influence. Vegetarian menu available for $75/pp and must be noted in reservation. Children ages 5-12 will be accommodated at $25. We are happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions, however we will not be able to accommodate requests regarding severe gluten allergies or celiac disease.

Our wait person was very helpful with ordering but then we asked the mozzarella tableside before appetizers and salad which didn’t happen and it was so late in coming we cancelled it. The remaining food arrived which was good but we were forgotten after that. I had to ask someone to clear the dishes and it was so long before the secondi course of chicken arrived we forgot we ordered and had moved on to dessert. Overall disappointing.

Amazing experience! The staff were all wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. Order two small appetizers, two antipasti, and a main course. Plenty of food for the two of us. Will definitely be going back when in the KC area.

Amazing meal! From the Ensalata to the duck fat cabbage - everything was superb! Loved our server as well, took very good care of us as time wasn’t on our side, but she made sure we were fed and out the door to make our show.

My colleagues and I are in town for an event and will be talking about our incredible experience for months to come. From the bread course to the dessert and everything in between, absolutely everything we ate was amazing. Our server was so knowledgeable and guided us through the best meal I’ve ever had, hands down. We will be sure to stop in in every time we’re in the city.

Our anniversary dinner at Lazia was perfect. The suggestions from our waitress, Debbie, were perfect! The thoughtful details they incorporated for our anniversary were so appreciated and kind! We love the seasonal menus and the vibes are perfect for a romantic dinner!

Don’t go here expecting a quick meal. This is a traditional Italian restaurant … a full-on four course experience that isn’t rushed. But it’s perfectly executed, allowing you to enjoy each course with enough time in between so that when the next course comes to the table, you’re ready for more. The service is attentive but not overbearing, the ambiance is intimate yet casual, and the food is delicious. I’d recommend Lazia as a “special occasion” restaurant, as it’s a memorable experience that isn’t cheap. But considering my partner and I had a full four-course meal and cocktails, the bill was less than I expected and very much worth it!

We had the most phenomenal dinner. From the moment we checked in to the moment we walked out the door, service was behind top quality. The staff was extremely informative and assured our experience was nothing less than amazing throughout our entire time. The food was fresh, creative, and tastefully complex. I was shocked that our bill was so reasonable at the end. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. It’s so nice to see a commitment to service, excellence, and accessibility. Bravo!

Overall great experience. Food was incredible and service was great! We really enjoyed the mozzarella and all of the pastas. I wish they offered valet parking for restauran patrons is the only complaint.
