Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Second visit —- quickly turning into a favorite restaurant. Inventive food superbly prepared and presented.

Quite possibly one of best meals I’ve ever had. The table side mozzarella caprese salad was amazing! Everything so good! Debbie was our server and she was GREAT!

We set a reservation and the restaurant was not busy. There were several open tables and we were sat at the bar when there were plenty of 2 seater tables. I feel like the bar there should be for walk-ins. The bartender was super shaky and not sure what that was about. I really hope everything is ok with her. The food was ok not great not bad. It just wasn’t for us nor the experience.

Every detail from beginning to end was handled with the most pleasant server, Lori. She answered our questions about the menu, and even checked with the kitchen for a special request. Shelly was the cheese expert running the pulled mozzarella cart. We learned more there than on our tour in Italy. The food was delicious and perfectly executed. This place is a special foodie destination, with staff that love their jobs.

This was my second visit to Lazia this year and I absolutely loveeeeee this restaurant! Super cute hidden gem right in KC. • the service is amazing • the food options are plentiful • the moody ambiance is great • the service has been great every time • I am a music person and Lazia understands music and what to play. I absolutely loveeeeee it!

If I could give zero stars for service I would. We sat and did not get drinks for over 15 minutes. Another waiter saw us sitting there for an extended period of time and he came up and took our drink order. Food came out in a whacky order, like entrees before apps and my husband’s entree 10 minutes before mine. Our waiter never asked how the food was or checked on us. When we were walking out the same waiter that assisted us with drinks, apologized for the lack of service. $250+ for dinner does not match well with absolutely NO service. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

My husband and I took a total gamble on Lazia on the Tuesday evening before attending the Zach Bryan concert. We have a few Kansas City favorites, but knew nothing about Lazia. The table-made mozzarella experience was highly recommended by hotel staff, so we did that with bread and drinks and also ordered a lobster dish to share. We were BLOWN AWAY by Madam Mozzarella. We both felt like we could’ve had just had the mozzarella, pesto, and tomatoes with bread and wine and been totally satisfied. 10/10. We will come again!!
