Welcome to the Crossroads, where Kansas City comes together. An evening at Lazia begins at the hearth with a complimentary house amaro blend as the sound of hip hop's greatest legends fill the room. The menu is both familiar and surprising in its selection of Italian favorites. It offers a collection of Cicchetti and Antipasti to start your meal; an expertly prepared and seasonal selection of handmade, fresh pastas; a satisfying collection of Secondi; and few moments of surprise & delight!

Named for another Crossroads O.G. and pal of Pendergast, Johnny Lazia, our dinner-only restaurant sits at the Crossroads of Italian culinary inspiration and the farms and fields of the Heartland in the Midwest.

We are currently open 7 days a week from 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Valet Parking for Lazia guests is $9, but street parking is also available.

Lazia is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Some of the best food we’ve had in KC but we waited 45 minutes for an 8:15 reservation. Please honor your reservations times by asking the previous party to leave after a reasonable amount of time. (We were told by the hostess they had been there for 3+ hours.) That being said, we were compensated with a free round of wine and bread.

Lazia is my latest favorite place in town. We had 4 dishes and each was better that the last. Focaccia bread to start was perfectly toasted, salad with toasted bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, pickled peppers, olives and a tart dressing was my favorite. The seafood pasta was beautiful and delicious on a variety of levels, with the sauce being the ‘secret’ sauce (infused parsley, cavier, and more). The roasted chicken was also awesome, tender and delicious!

The pasta was very good. The focaccia was saturated with olive oil. We asked for a new serving without extra oil and it was delicious. Service was extremely slow - though very friendly. There were multiple 15-20 minute gaps where no one came to our table and there was no one to flag down.

While the olive oil on the focaccia is delicious it can be a bit decadent, I'm glad you were able to enjoy the fresh serving with out it. Debbie and the other chefs and servers gave us an excellent experience last night. My best friend flew in from DC to celebrate New years with me, and we were blown away by the delicious food (exquisitely presented), the wine, and Debbie's clear and thorough knowledge of the menu, and recommendations. Thank you for making our NYE so memorable!

We had a mess up with our reservation and the hostess was so accommodating and helpful. She went above and beyond to get us seated and out the door in time for our next reservation that night. She walked through the entire menu with us and basically acted as our server taking our orders before we sat down. Food was absolutely phenomenal - definitely recommend!! 11/10 for communication and attentiveness from the hostess.

I was blown away by every item we ordered. My husband, whom is super picky, was also amazed and would not stop talking about it. We ordered the insalata, focaccia Al formaggio with vodka sauce for dipping, then the agnolotti that had fennel sausage and ricotta filling with a tomato butter and chili sauce for spice. The service was a tie with the food quality. Every single staff member was wonderful and so welcoming and knowledgeable. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation here. We will be back next time in KC.
