Absolutely amazing experience. Admittedly, I have been to Laylak many times and have enjoyed their incredible food and authentic haut-Lebanese ambiance before, but today was special because I took my kids to eat there. What a lovely experience! The food was, as usual, exceptional: the hummus was like silk, the labaneh deeply flavourful and the Fatoush salad good enough to make my 9 year old carnivore consider switching to a plant based diet🤣🤣! Our heaviest appetizer was the Kibeh Nayah- raw beef, accented with garlic sauce, mint leaves, onion and turnip… absolutely fantastic with their house-made fresh pita bread. Bite after bite was tasty and spawned “oooh and ahhh” moments from both of my kids. Our main was the mixed grill- great for 3 with modest appetites or after lots of appetizers (like us). Perfectly grilled beef tenderloin, minced meat kebabs and chicken pieces with the house-made garlic sauce was cool and hearty with grilled vegetables to add some crunch and colour. By this time we were very full but had to have the date cake and ice cream… they drizzled it with salted caramel in front of us. The combination of cold vanilla ice cream, candied coconut, date cake and the caramel had the perfect sweet and salty taste with a bit of cold and crunch to match. A true highlight of the experience! But perhaps most important were the staff… always warm, kind and attentive. So rare to have this genuinely welcoming but not pretentious atmosphere in a fine dining establishment. Somehow they make you feel like your royalty and at home at the same time. Highly recommended!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Laylak with two of my friends. When we first arrived the restaurant was packed, but the staff were working their best to accommodate everyone promptly. We had Pierro as our server, and he was nothing short of spectacular. He greeted us with a warm welcome and was incredibly personable and attentive. We noticed he was also working as the bartender and were really impressed watching him pour all of the cocktails! All of the food and drinks that we ordered were amazing in both presentation and flavour. We also were greeted by Talal and Mayuk who also went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was special. At the end of our dinner, Talal brought us a free dessert, which was my favourite of the ones we ordered. My friends and I had such a great and unforgettable evening, which would not have been possible without the hospitality of Pierro, Talal and Mayuk. We will definitely be returning in the future and are looking forward to our next dining experience at Laylak!

it was great! Just wish the table was a bit bigger to fit all of our food but overall really yummy.

We had a very nice experience at Laylak yesterday.Our server was great at giving suggestions , the food was served pretty fast and it tasted great .This restaurant will certainly be in our list to take our friends to.
