    The servers were absolutely delightful, caring and actually had an understanding of the food being served all the while offering first class service! The restaurant is beautiful and music was so enjoyable. The flavors were magical and the most authentic Lebanese food in the GTA-all beautiful plated.

    The food was absolutely delicious: we ordered à la carte (not the chef’s menu, which was available that night). Beets with labneh, beef cheeks for 2, and the muhalabiah (milk pudding). All well executed and beautifully presented. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive although you could sense they were largely new to this, and seemed to still be finding their footing (it took almost 7 minutes after being seated to have anyone come over and offer menus and drinks…and it wasn’t busy when we arrived). Otherwise we will definitely be visiting again and trying more items. I’m sure the staff will get into their rhythm.

    I have dined at Laylak three times now, and each visit has been fantastic! Great food options, amazing cocktails, extensive wine list. It's not an inexpensive option, but the experience is worth the price. I will be back for sure!

    I was glad that Lalak opened in Oakville and I don't have to drive downtown. Everything about the restaurant was excellent; the ambiance, food, & service. The only thing that bothered me was the obligatory 20% tip for a group of 5 though when I made the reservation on OpenTable it was mentioned for a group of 6 people. Other than that I do recommend the restaurant for its' fusion Mediterranean/Lebanese menu.
