LAVO Los Angeles is a 250-seat coastal Italian restaurant designed for an unparalleled, year-round alfresco dining experience. The restaurant offers an elevated indoor and outdoor dining experience while boasting a spacious sun-drenched dining room with a retractable roof, operable windows, and luxurious Italian furnishings throughout.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ralph Scamardella, whose menu balances dishes inspired by coastal southern Italy and influenced by Southern California produce while paying homage to LAVO’s signature Italian classics and his Italian-American background.

The beverage program features dramatic iterations on the classics alongside bold signature drinks. LAVO’s robust wine program complements the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and West Coast locale, featuring a vast selection of Old-World wines, as well as wines from California’s iconic regions.

Our Valentine's Banquette Experience is catered to parties of 2 and carries a $50 fee to guarantee intimate seating. PLEASE NOTE: This fee is non-refundable & will not be applied to your food and beverage spend. Any taxes and gratuity will be collected along with your food and beverage spend upon finishing your meal. For $220* per couple, enjoy a reserved lounge table, premium champagne or rosé, and a dessert flight with chocolate-covered strawberries and cookies. Offering two seatings, this experience is the perfect way to begin or end the night, or to make your Valentine’s Day extra special. Group reservations are welcome, with pricing adjusted accordingly. Your reservation includes a 2-hour dining limit to ensure all guests can enjoy their time. *Please note this is a lounge style experience at The Fleur Room and is not a dinner reservation at LAVO Los Angeles.

Was a little hesitant about my reservation because of the reviews of bad service. Personally though my experience was great here. Came on a Sunday night and sat in a nice booth with my party. Our waitress was kind, patient and accommodating. Clean place, tasteful music at a quiet volume. Would love to come back. Food could be a little better for the price, but still enjoyed.

The food and the menu can be better. They did have the best espresso martini that I’ve ever had. The service service was great our waitress was excellent unfortunately I don’t remember her name overall it was a good experience a bit overpriced for the food. The pasta la vodka was really delicious but everything else was just mediocre.

Disappointing and Overhyped I wish I had read the reviews before dining here. We were seated fairly quickly, but it went downhill from there. We were placed at high-top tables in the bar area, where they’ve crammed as many tables as possible. It was impossible to have a private conversation—everyone’s chatter overlapped, and servers constantly bumped into us with their elbows while serving other tables. The service was impersonal at best. No introductions, no warmth—just a straight, “What would you like to order?” The acoustics of the restaurant are terrible, and they play outdated 90s R&B, which made the noise level even worse. We started with red wine, but the server hesitantly brought us samples, placed them on the table, and disappeared for five minutes. We weren’t even told what we were sampling. Then, another server informed us our original server was on her break. The food was mediocre at best but came with five-star prices. The salads we ordered as appetizers were soggy and drenched in dressing, completely over-salted. For my main course, I ordered a filet mignon, only to find out they charge an absurd $5 for steak sauce—which I assumed was included. The steak itself was overcooked and incredibly chewy. Overall, the experience was not enjoyable. I fell for the Instagram hype, but this place does not live up to it. There are far better dining options in LA for the same price point. And to management: please don’t bother with a generic copy-paste reply. It’s clear you don’t care about your customers, or you’d put in the effort to fix these glaring issues.

Such a fantastic night here. Took my husband for our anniversary and we had a wonderful meal and excellent service. 7:15 time slot in a Saturday night was perfect timing. Our waitress Zora, was just the best! Will be back again for a great experience.

This was our first visit to LAVO Los Angeles, and it was great. Service, food and astrosphere were excellent, we can't wait to return and try additional menu items next time we are in Los Angeles. LAVO is definitely on our must visit when we are in town.

LAVO has amazing food and excellent service! My date and I ordered the chefs recommendation menu ($68 per person). We got the sashimi, burrata, filet mignon 6oz, vodka pasta, hazelnut tart, and cheesecake. Everything was amazing. I gave this place a 3 star for non-transperancy. When we got the bill, it was more than expected, when we asked if we were charged accurately, we were told that steak is $50 more. With the dim lighting, it’s difficult to see if it said +50 on the menu. Would have appreciated if the server had said “just so you know, that one is an additional $50”. Also, it’s advertised to come with salsa verde, pepperchino, and butter but our server that it was $5 more. Lowkey misleading. We would definitely go back and this time we will ask questions if something is more. Their service is the best!!

Great vibe. Unfortunately service wasn’t great and had mentioned bringing the meal an in courses which didn’t happen. Salmon was undercooked and I had a stomach ache afterwards.

We've been to Lavo before and have had great dining experiences. We went on New Year's Eve and did not have a very good dining experience. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and service was not the best. We had to ask for drinks and our food. I ordered the lobster diablo and it looked like it had been sitting a while before it was brought to me. The food was cold and pasta was under cooked. Lavo isn't cheap, so you expect the best.

Gladys provided excellent service. I came with three of my girlfriends and it was all our first time at Lavo. We loved the atmosphere, the food, the service and the DJ was a nice surprise. He was right next to the booth we were at and played some of our favorites. From the garlic bread, pizza, carbonara & penne allá vodka… and the couple of different cocktails we had… we were very happy with our whole dining experience. Gladys was even kind enough to take some photos for us even though we know she must have been so busy as it was packed and a Saturday night. Please thank & acknowledge her wonderful service. I’m a manager in hospitality as well so I know when someone deserves the recognition. Thank you for the great experience, Lavo!
