LAVO Los Angeles is a 250-seat coastal Italian restaurant designed for an unparalleled, year-round alfresco dining experience. The restaurant offers an elevated indoor and outdoor dining experience while boasting a spacious sun-drenched dining room with a retractable roof, operable windows, and luxurious Italian furnishings throughout.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Ralph Scamardella, whose menu balances dishes inspired by coastal southern Italy and influenced by Southern California produce while paying homage to LAVO’s signature Italian classics and his Italian-American background.

The beverage program features dramatic iterations on the classics alongside bold signature drinks. LAVO’s robust wine program complements the restaurant’s Italian inspiration and West Coast locale, featuring a vast selection of Old-World wines, as well as wines from California’s iconic regions.

Ordered 4 appetizers of which 2 were good the other 2 not so much. The main dishes, the pasta we ordered did not hold up to the standard they’ve set for themselves. First and last time here.

Great staff and restaurant space unfortunately food quality was not that good. I recommend the management to look into better chef and to elevate the quality of the food. Los Angeles is very competitive restaurant business.frankly the food quality reminded us something that you get at a national chain such as Olive Garden quality. We also noticed that the bench in the booths area were way too low. we felt that the tables were too high while sitting.

Went for Birthday dinner ordered ambiance was okay not excellent as music was too loud seats at booth are not very comfortable if your 5”2. Service was better with water boy then with actual server she argued wrong drink that was brought to us was indeed the the previous drink we had ordered you should really argue on what a customer just tasted and there was a complete color change in drink one was blue the other lemonade color. We’re trying to have an easy fun evening and she argued that although she did take of receipt the damage is done on how she approached situation . We actually didn’t care to be charged we just wanted the drink we ordered. Also being conscious of interested we still did 20 % tip . Perhaps there should be a training ok customer service and handling of situations like this. Food was okay not excellent tartar very fishy smell . Oysters not impressed with their condiments either. Only thing I can say was great was desserts and presentation .

this is my second time coming for the brunch and i had such a great time my first time i decided to bring some more friends this time and we all had a GREAT time! will def be back to check out the other menu offerings

Delicious food! Great service! They accidentally brought an unordered pasta and let us keep that one and also gave us the correct one. Scrumptious italian food. I definitely recommend the garlic bread.

Great ambience went for a anniversary recently, servers were really nice. Came and checked up on us quite frank frequently. I had the vodka pasta wasn’t the best vodka pasta. I’ve had a little underseasoned food. I will give a three star. Don’t mind paying for good food, but wasn’t the best for the price

Food was bland, mediocre, & over priced! The ambiance & staff were nice. I usually don’t write negative reviews on any platforms but disappointed that I cancelled my other reservation for this place. Also, they advertised that they had the “Greatest Hits menu” 7 days a week. They didn’t. My motto, “Quality over quantity”.
