   Great food and amazing table service but we had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time.

   Table was not ready at the time of our reservation. Food was very good with complimentary bread and veggies trays. Service was great on a busy night and the food came out at a reasonable time after we ordered.

   Really poor service. Some dishes great, others not so. Ahi tartar pretty fishy. Again the service for this price point was the massive disconnect

   The service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and engaging. Food was so delicious and plentiful. Overall great experience.

   Lavos reminded me of a restaurant in Disneyland. It was like a dressed up cafeteria. They jam as many people as they can into tacky round ( think wedding ) or long tables. There are some smaller tables on the side where you basically sit in the lap of the person from the next table. The pictures on their website are from the front part of the restaurant ( which has limited seating) where the fancy bar is - and that area is nice, but the bulk of the restaurant is the large cafeteria style back space. The food kept the dressed up cafeteria theme going - bland in some cases and way "over creamed and cheesed" in others. Overall it did not taste good and even though I barely ate I ended up with a terrible stomach ache. The only thing that lived up to being called a gourmet restaurant was the price. Would NOT Recommend!

   The staff was very attentive and friendly and food was great! A little pricey, but it’s Vegas so you know.

    Chose Lavo for Wedding Anniversary and Birthday (ON same Day). Appetizers were very good. However, I ordered a 12 oz Wagyu Ribeye, medium rare; ended up with what was billed as a 20 oz Bone-In Ribeye that wasn't even a 16 oz. Steak was burnt on both sides and raw in the middle, very tough to cut and chew. Wife ordered the "Jumbo Shrimp alla Scampi"; which presented as small, not even medium shrimp. Service was a bit slow, even with less than half the tables full. All in all; not a pleasant dining experience.
