L'Aventure continues to be one of the best places to lunch or dine in London. Almost always outstanding, it has maintained fine quality of food, service and ambiance for the 30 years that I have known it.

We went as three friends having a weekday lunch at our favourite venue. Tucked away in St John’s Wood, this restaurant is an absolute gem! Exemplary service, truly wonderful traditional French food and a great choice of wine made for us. We are always made very welcome by Catherine, the owner. Highly recommended!

Food was very good, the ambience very cosy and the service was excellent we were sitting in the veranda and I must say we were shivering with cold at the end of dinner …. More heating would have made our experience a bit “ warmer” I would come though
